Post University provides its students with one-on-one career counseling sessions in addition to workshops designed to help students develop comprehensive academic and career planning abilities. Counselors assist students and alumni with incorporating academic, extracurricular, and personal experiences into a career plan. This  process begins in the student's freshman year with the creation of a four-year plan. Workshops on topics such as effective resume writing, interview skills, and job search strategies assist each student in developing the skills necessary to obtain full- and part-time employment in their field of choice. Assessments on individual personality traits, values, and skills are offered to help each student identify a career that is a good match for their unique attributes. Counseling services are available for students and alumni who are undergoing career changes and need to update their resumes.

Post University’s career center provides students and alumni with links to a variety of job search and internship resources. The school hosts an annual etiquette luncheon to provide students with the skills necessary to present themselves properly if they encounter a luncheon job interview. The school also offers Career Post, a dynamic online portal that connects University students and alumni with employer profiles. These profiles include contact information, full- and part-time job openings, internship postings, work study listings, and professional portfolio management. Post University Career Services provides students with internship and job placement assistance.
