Parking: the prices and spacing is good.

Nightlife: There are spots for 21< but not a lot for under.

4 College Junior

Majors: plenty of lee way for different mediums.

3 College Junior

Majors: great resources for finding available options.

Off-Campus Housing: I was able to find available options for off- campus that seemed OK but nothing special but it was all at least very near the campus.

College Sophomore

Majors: In order to major in what I would like to do, I have to fill out forms to be admitted into the program. I do not understand why this is but it is required. I believe the importance is figuring out specifically what you would like to do within your major and picking out classes that would benefit you. There are always advisors to talk to that can help break down the process and even suggest classes.

Academics: My major consists of a good amount of workload and hands on experience. I can choose the option of having hands on experience in digital video production or field documentary. There is a vast majority of internships that I can apply to whether on campus or off campus and it is a blessing to have film companies near by that offer internships to students.

College Sophomore

Academics: There professors here are well minded and they mean well. The curriculum makes sense of what the professor would do unless there is a weather issue where class is cancelled. The registration process can be a little confusing but there are people who are happy to help anyone who are unsure of what to do.

Diversity: Portland Oregon is known for its diversity and its acceptance of sexual orientation.

Campus Dining: There are multiple places for students to eat, whether they want to sit down and eat or catch a few bites. There are about two dining halls we have and it has multiple food options. What is amazing is there is a Starbucks almost everywhere you see.

Overall Experience: This is my first term here at Portland State University, and from what I have experienced, I love it. I love the atmosphere, the culture, the nightlife, the events that occurs. Every school is unique in their own way, and I believe for Portland State University, we are very big on bike riding and being green; recycling and reusing.

Facilities: There is always something to do or see on campus. There are organization tables set up to talk to students, there is a tv organization for students to go out and shoot/record events and put it on live on youtube or their website. The library is huge and has a lot of space and the time is flexible.

Facilities: Their academic programs are swell, there are a lot of organizations that students can choose from to make friends, make a difference, or just have something to do after class or on weekends. In my opinion the best thing is the school has a bowling alley and it is a chance to have fun and let loose.

3 College Sophomore

Weather: The weather doesn't affect my campus experience. It does rain a lot but I still go outside and have fun.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: I like living on campus for the fact that it is walking distance within all of my classes and my work place. The atmosphere is quiet but with a little craziness here and there. However, the only downfall of living on campus is the dirtiness that occurs within the back stairwell which is always dirty.

Parking: The parking at this school is spread around on campus. We have a couple of garages, parking on the side of the road and even near a tennis court. We have meters on campus so we can buy a ticket for how many hours and slip it inside our car door. However, there are some other parking such as the garage that you can pay for a permit but it is expensive.

Computers: There are multiple computer labs in almost each building including one of the dorm buildings. We have computers from macs to dell and it is a relief for students who are night owls working on essays or studying and they need a computer.

College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: This doesn't apply to me but there are pamphlets to read and people to go through the process of off-campus housing. There are people who would help you make a decision whether you want to live off or on campus.

College Sophomore

Nightlife: I am not a partygoer, but there is always something going on for students to do.

4 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: Portland State University is the center of downtown. There are a lot of attractions occurring whether it is student organizations or musical bands playing in the park. There are a variety of restaurants, theaters, and stores that students can go to.

Guys & Girls: Portlandia. Only needed one word.

Campus Dining: There are multiple dining areas on campus and a variety of options. The staff is very friendly, the food well prepared, and the facility clean.

Health & Safety: Heard great things, but I haven't had any interaction.

3 College Sophomore

Academics: Although I am passionate it when it comes to Business, a degree in business at PSU is often undermined.

Academics: It isn't very interesting when the one presenting the topic isn't interested.

At PSU, that hasn't been the case. Each professor is very involved.
