Off-Campus Dining: The dining options in the Claremont Village are a little expensive for the most part, but it's okay. The diner there is good. You don't really need to dine off campus because of the great food on campus and the variety of food at the other dining halls on the other campuses. Harvey Mudd, Scripps, and Pitzer have the best dining halls.

When you're looking for some snacks late at night, there's an ampm right up the street from Pitzer!

Off-Campus Dining: Good options if you don't go out too often.

Off-Campus Dining: Claremont is a pretty sleepy town so sometimes its hard to get food late but everything is really nice and close to campus.

3 College Senior

Off-Campus Dining: There are plenty of off-campus restaurants, but few students eat dinner off-campus. Frozen yogurt, pizza, In n' Out, donuts, and bagels are popular destinations off-campus, but they aren't near enough unless you want to walk 15-25 minutes to get there. A lot of places offer student discounts/you can use your student credit (Claremont Cash).

Off-Campus Dining: No Car? Better Not Have Fancy Taste Buds. A lot of kids order Dominos or go to the 24 hour Santana's Restaurant nearby, but if you are impressing a girl or taking your folks to dinner, then you're best off driving 40 minutes to Los Angeles and eat some of the best food in the country. Middle ground? Yes. Buca Di Beppo is fantastic and will feed you more than your money's worth.

The off-campus dining options in the surrounding Claremont area are numerous and diverse. Not only are there places to get a quick bite to eat, but there are also restaurants for all shapes and sizes: formal, casual, spicy, or just a good old-fashioned sandwich. "The Village" offers a wide array of eateries with dishes ranging from Thai food to Spanish to Mediterranean. If you come to Pitzer, you'll be able to taste dishes from around the world, and you only have to walk a few blocks to try them!

Village dining prices can be steep, but there are many cheaper options. As a college student looking to spend frugally, you can sleep easier knowing that there are places that won't break your bank account. Student favorites include Bua Thai Cuisine, Viva Madrid, and Pizza 'n' Such, just to name a few. If you do decide to splurge in The Village, you can be sure that you'll get a bang for your buck. If you have a car and can venture outside of The Village, you'll find even more exciting restaurants and local cuisines to try. There is definitely no lack of delicious food in the area, so make sure you come hungry!
