1 College Freshman

Campus Dining: The food tastes like jail food.

4 College Freshman

Majors: I just joined the program but so far so good.

College Freshman

Majors: I have not gotten this far in school yet.

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: Greek life for girls is kind of crappy Greek like for guys is pretty good I would say.

3 College Freshman

Transportation: There is a lot of people that can car pool but car is the only way unless you love very far and can take off at Joplin airport.

3 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: Some parts of Pittsburg are sketchy but I like the atmosphere for the most part.

1 College Freshman

Campus Housing: They get mad over silly things and they all think they are better than everyone. I have had my safety threatened by people loving in the dorm and I CANNOT wait to get our of the dorms next year.

4 College Freshman

Diversity: There is a lot of diversity here on campus and I like it that way.

3 College Freshman

Health & Safety: I had a bad experience at the health center but everything else is pretty good for the most part.

3 College Freshman

Drug Safety: I don't think there are many drugs on campus more drinking.

3 College Freshman

Weather: It's Kansas. That should explain a lot!

2 College Freshman

Parking: Everyone is always complaining about the parking but I live on campus right now.

3 College Sophomore

Transportation: I have never used the transportation so i would not know whether it is practical or not.

3 College Sophomore

Weather: Sometimes a snowstorm will shut down campus for a day or two.

3 College Sophomore

Computers: The wi-fi is kind of temperamental but when it works it's fine, the labs often have very slow and sometimes unresponsive computers.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Not too bad. The mall deli is delicious, and so is Fuzzy's Tacos but for the most part it's just a lot of easy fast food places.

4 College Sophomore

Diversity: There are many different races and nationalities here, as well as acceptance of them. I have only heard of a few people who are very intolerable.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: There are a lot of rules in dorms that just seem unnecessary.

4 College Sophomore

Scholarships: I have never had a problem with the financial aid.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: The tech center is one of the nicer, newer buildings on campus and has very good classes to take. The gen-eds here are very easy but seem to be lacking a bit.

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: Not being an athlete, i dont know much about the actual inside part of athletics here, but student involvement and fans is typically very high.

4 College Sophomore

Nightlife: Lot's of fun stuff to do in the dorms, and always a party happening somewhere.

3 College Sophomore

Parking: There is alot less room for parking than would be desired but it isn't impossible to find a spot.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: Plenty of available scholarships, but very hard to be eligible for because of parents financial status. I just want to say that just because your parents may make over 100k gross a year doesn't mean that they can pay for college. My parents live a very simple average life with no extras like cable and they struggle to put e through college. It is not easy. I think they just need to be less strict on the financial part of scholarships. We all need the help and should be have the same opportunities and "less fortunate" as you put it.

College Freshman

Drug Safety: I don't do drugs or know anyone who does.
