Academic Flexibility: The process of Transferring credits from another college, the process was easy but it took too long to process.

3 College Freshman

Online Courses: On line classes are ok but to really get hands on training you need to be in the classroom.

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: My course of study is Respiratory Therapist and Pitt Community College provides small classes to get specialized attention from Professors. The best students gets into the program by a point system that is fair to everyone.

5 College Freshman

Academic Experience: The workload for my major is appropriate as well as the curriculum. The facilities could be updated and internship/job opportunities are there. The teachers really help you in getting a job after you graduate.

4 College Junior

Facilities: We are the largest community college and expanding all the time. Pitt often displays their PCC pride and holds plenty events to share it. Its jus like a university except for the dorms but they offer off campus living from other sources.

Student Body: There is a little bit of everything at since all ages are allowed and there is no discrimination, accept just about anybody, that is a good thing and a bad thing. The good comes the diversity and learning so much with everyone you meet and all the interesting connections that are made. The bad is the occasions where we have a break in or a stabbing or a shooting on campus. They are rare but it happens some in the middle of the night while are other are in the day time seen by everyone.

Academic Flexibility: The school is very convenient including location and also service. My classes were easy sign up for and could set them all up so I would be done before the afternoon began. Also I am work study so they are very flexible with the schedule, school comes first so they just schedule times around anything school oriented.

4 College Junior

Online Courses: Usually when I take an online class I never see my teacher, not really but they are very good with communication through email and if I need to seem them in person in most cases I can, unless the teacher happens to be out of the state.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Tuition is reasonable and financial aid usually pays for the tuition, fees, and books, while also having some left over to be refunded to the student for the prequisite classes. For core classes in one's major it is usually all spent up from the cost of books, schools and fees but it usually takes care of those types of expenses just not the extras that are need for majors in the nursing field that are provided by outside sources, such as lab coats, stethoscope, and full physical (without insurance). For some people that do not get it right the first time, financial aid process can be a bit of a hassle, because then they will need more information to prove what ever information the student did not provide and it can be stressful. But they help you best they can they are very friendly but may incidently give you the run around at times.

Career Services: The post grad services for Pitt Community College involve job searching, assistance in creating resume and cover letters, building interview skills, performing mock interviews, and helping them prepare for life after college. The alumni network welcomes alumni back for services and events to let them know they are always welcome.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: The gym is free for students, faculty, and alumni. The student centers helps and answers questions on a daily basis. The library is usually filled so not many people can get a computer all the time but the internet is quick and the librarians are helpful. Campus activities are usually very fun and involve all the clubs and organizations on campus to help promote them and bring them together.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Everything that is done is for the students! The president stays involved with the community, and most of the teachers are genuinely there to help. If the teachers are unsatisfactory and are reported on, actions are taken. The staff are really friendly and you will be helped if you know where to go. Most classes are classroom setting similar to highschool and you have more time with your instructor. There are free tutorial services and free events held with free food. You are always meeting new people, making new connections, and sometimes making new friends. There are also close places nearby campus that is really convenient.
