5 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: I had no problem transferring my credits and getting the classes I want.

4 College Senior

Student Body: There is a very diverse population on campus with all age groups and religions

4 College Senior

Facilities: There are many programs and classes that have flexible scheduling with different locations throughout Tucson.

3 College Sophomore

Student Body: Again, it all depends on the campus you attend. Certain campuses will give you lung cancer because of the amount of cigarette smoking.

3 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid at certain campuses will give you difficult instructions to try and obtain financial aid that never pays off.

3 College Sophomore

Facilities: Depending on the campus, you will either find a decent campus or a not so nice campus.

3 College Sophomore

Online Courses: If you're lucky you will get an instructor that has taught online before and they will be very helpful.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: Definitely easy to create a schedule based on your needs and availability.

1 College Sophomore

Career Services: The counselors are terrible. They will never give you the same answer twice which is always inaccurate.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: They have an alright gym and weight room. It's open to the community so be careful of the local thieves.

2 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: The few times that I have actually gone to campus everything has been pretty slow.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: The department head isn't the greatest person in the world. The school won't do anything about her because "She's been there the longest"

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: It would be nice if all the programs they offered were more available at all their campuses.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: The only resource I've really used at Pima are the tutors in the library. They were great for one subject I went in for (math) but not for the other subject, which I think was biology.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: The internet connectivity at Pima is fine. It can be slow, but I haven't had any issues with it that I can remember.

College Sophomore

Student Body: I don't really socialize with anyone at Pima outside of class. The student body is very ethnically, economically and religously diverse.

College Sophomore

Career Services: I have not used any of these features

3 College Sophomore

Facilities: Pima seems great, I assume it's pretty comparable to most colleges.

5 College Sophomore

Online Courses: I love online courses. NAU has excellent online classes. Most of the teachers are very interested in the students, and will answer emails in a timely manner. I learned a lot in the majority of my classes. There were only a few I found to be pointless and not contributing to my career.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I have not yet started to nursing program I am hoping to get into, but I am having to re-take two biology classes that have expired. The respiratory program I did was interesting. There was a good mix of class, lab and clinical time. The workload was a lot, but as an unemployed person it was very do-able.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: Pima has many different degree options. I was able to find some that I am interested in and take a couple classes to see if it was something I was interested in. Most of my teachers were great, very knowledgeable. I liked the respiratory program I went through for my associates degree.

4 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: I think the price of Pima is great, but now that I am a returning student with a bachelor's degree, it is difficult to find financial aid.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: The respiratory program at Pima Community College was not flexible at all, but at the time I was not working and living with my parents. The bachelor's program at NAU was the best, since it was online. I was able to work anytime I wanted and do class work in-between.

4 College Sophomore

Facilities: For the most part, students at Pima are friendly and outgoing. Most students know one another from high school. The facilities are well taken care of and campus life is comfortable.
