Local Atmosphere: I love this city. It has a growing art scene. All the local artists and art appreciators come out for First Friday & Music Fridays. There is even a website for all of the local events.

Local Atmosphere: The city of Lancaster is a really nice place, it is safe and clean and there's a lot of great restaurants and places to hang out. The residents are mostly elderly people and other young people, and everyone is pretty friendly. There's also a lot of cool shops to check out, but its kind of hard to find a job downtown.

Local Atmosphere: Great school, very chill and relaxed. Once getting into the school you're immediately have a sense of comfort and "I belong". All in all I am enjoying my first semester of Freshmen year.

Local Atmosphere: Tradition Meets Modernism – Lancaster has plenty to do and see. It's an artsy city with old-fashioned charm and modern flair. Central Market, one of the best farmer's markets in existence (in my opinion), is an easy 15-minute walk from the school. Queen Street has tons of restaurants and shops, including several thrift stores and higher-end boutiques alike, and the bus station provides cheap and easy transport to farther places like the Park City Mall. There's the science museum, the Auntie Anne's pretzel factory, and the Charles Demuth museum in the city as well. Also, on the first friday of every month every gallery, shop and eatery in the city stays open later; it's impossible to see everything in one night. PCA&D itself has a gallery in the front which showcases guest artists and, in May, senior work. A great city and a great time is guaranteed.
