4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: The student-faculty ratio is low, so students are given more individualized attention.

College Sophomore

Campus Dining: Campus dining is not an option for this college. N/A

Off-Campus Housing: Depends on how willing you are to look for the right place at the right price.

4 College Sophomore

Facilities: Great atmosphere for those interested in the art scene.

4 College Sophomore

Facilities: The college is not large, but the close-nit, accessible nature of the surrounding town makes up for that.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: Great balance between academia and practical application.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: I am impressed with the number of student study groups and clubs that supplement material that's covered in the classroom.

4 College Sophomore

Majors: I am satisfied with the variety of majors offered at PCAD.

4 College Sophomore

Majors: I have been given a solid foundation of basic skills and real-world opportunities to prepare me for life after graduation.

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: For a fine arts college, the fact that sports are offered in the first place is a pleasant surprise.

5 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: You cannot throw a rock without hitting an art gallery, coffee shop, restaurant, or music studio.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Campus housing consists mainly of local apartments that do not belong to the school.

3 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: Students are not afraid to express their uniqueness and originality of thought via looks, interests, dress, social life, and relationships.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: The college is situated within a small town that appreciates the arts. Safety in the surrounding area of the college, as well as at the college itself, is not an issue.

4 College Sophomore

Weather: It doesn't affect it much since its only one building, not a huge campus.

4 College Sophomore

Parking: There is always parking available for students in the garage, but the price is not a good thing. But then again, maybe im just stingy.

5 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: The local atmosphere is great, many people fear Lancaster but as an art student going to a school in an art town, it is amazing being there. The town is always holding events and the night life is great. If you're out in the good parts of town there is nothing to worry about. The other schools nearby have a great relationship with out school. The teachers there are helpful and allow us to use their library, the only thing is the students don't interact, and i think we should more.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: There are vending and coffee machines, but they aren't very good. They break down a lot and steal your money. If you ask for a refund though, the school happily gives it to you. There are plenty of food places nearby though, so it isn't a big deal.

5 College Sophomore

Nightlife: If you want to stay home and relax, its perfectly acceptable, but if not there is always a party to go to. When i say party, its usually just a very relaxed hang out or there are a few local hookah bars that are frequented and it's a very relaxed, fun atmosphere.

5 College Sophomore

Academics: The school has the first year being generalized so you can decide what major you want and not have to switch and pay more down the road. It also incorporates the programs you need for your field of study, not forcing you to take more than that.

5 College Sophomore

Academics: The workload is a lot, but as a driven individual i enjoy a challenge and accept that sometimes in ored to achieve what you want, you need to work for it. The days are long at the school, but it's the school i chose and i don't regret that at all.

College Sophomore

Greek Life: Greek Life doesn't apply. we are all just equals at my school.

5 College Sophomore

Facilities: The student hangout spots are all very inviting. they created a park across the street for us to enjoy and the atrium is full of student/teacher pieces and inviting areas to sit.

5 College Sophomore

Facilities: Everyone is so close, and the teachers are so experienced. You are literally learning from the best at PCAD. There are teachers that have been a part of publishing superman comics, along with teachers that have been involved in big projects that its hard to even dream of. You can't get a better learning experience than that.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: I have received money from applying to FAFSA and one scholarship for being salutatorian, however it wasn't enough and i still need a lot more. The guidance counselors are very helpful, but there is only so much they can do. Scholarships are very important and often hard to win.
