The place for most students to get started on their job search is at the Bank of America Career Services Center, located next to the McCoy Natatorium. The staff at the career services building specializes in helping students perfect their résumé and prepare for interviews. Its Web site is www.sa.psu.edu/career and phone number is (814) 865-2377. Your college (Engineering, Communications, etc.) will also inform you of upcoming internship and employment opportunities. Penn State gives you several resources to aid in your job search; you just have to take advantage of them.
