Campus Resources: Penn State Fayette has done a nice job of making resources readily available to students and giving them places where they can go and relax, hit the gym, or even get well prepared food from the cafeteria. They try to make you feel as comfortable and taken care of as possible, and I enjoy that.

Campus Resources: Everything involving the computer and network system at Fayette is very reliable. It is nice to have your own personal computer and printer for off campus use but you do not need if on campus due to the computer lab and computers located in the library. I have no complaints.

College Freshman

Online Courses: I have not taken an online class so far here at Penn State.

Overall Experience: I would give my experience so far an average rating, because sometimes campus can be a little dead, and not everyone gets involved in the activities. I would say though, given the opportunity to be involved in a few clubs has helped lead me to my favorite memory so far which was THON (Penn State's 46 hour Dance Marathon). THON was a life changing experience and I was proud to be a part of Fayette's team who raised over $89,000 for pediatric cancer. I will be returning in the fall because, here I can get a hands on type of learning unlike anywhere else.

Career Services: The career center at Penn State Fayette really tries to keep up to date with all opportunities they can get. They also do a good job of making sure people come an take advantage of all the things their offices have to offer. One thing they do is keep in touch with alumni and have them come and talk to students about where they can get to, and what's out there for them, especially in being a Penn State student/graduate. This is why I would rate them high up do to these reasons.

Facilities: I think the thing that sets us apart is that even though we are a branch Penn State campus, we still have spirit. Our new saying, "Penn State Lives Here", really does shed some light onto the branch campuses, including Fayette, because it does show that even though we are three hours away from State College, we still have pride.

4 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: I really have not had any frustrations thus far or inconveniences, everyone and everything is pretty flexible.

3 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: I do believe I'm getting my money's worth with my education, my only complaint is with financial aid. I do think they need to reevaluate the eligibility for students and on campus jobs.

Student Body: Our student body is filled with many different people. We have our share of country people, some city people, out of state students, and many exchange students. It's hard to get to know everyone on campus since the majority of people commute, but almost everyone is friendly.

Academic Experience: Since I am starting at a branch campus to get my base classes out of the way, I'm not as connected to my major. Although at a branch campus, Earth and Mineral Sciences does a great job of keeping me in touch and up to date with all events/opportunities available.

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: Everything at my school meets the standards Penn State is known for and I'm more than satisfied with the academics offered.

Campus Resources: Penn State has access not only to the library on the campus but every other library from Penn State. The student center is being remodeled over the summer.

4 College Sophomore

Student Body: For such a small school as we are we have a great diversity ethnic wise.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Something that is unique to all Penn State campuses is the Thon club which is great to be involved in.

4 College Sophomore

Career Services: I feel like our alumni network is very strong not only at our campus but the whole school.

5 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: It is a great field of study to be in, and the other students in my major are supportive of each other.

5 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Professors were always willing to meet with me to discuss tests and new study techniques.

Academic Experience: I love nursing! I wasn't too sure if I could do it due to me being in the excel orated program in which I'll have my bachelors in 3 years but they really work with you and pace it out evenly:) I have been dating my boyfriend and managing dates, my family, household chores, church and church functions and I feel for my first semester, I did pretty well:)

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: The professors are so nice and helpful! I am a hands on learner and hate being lectured to but they really offered a new state of mind. I feel that I received not just knowledge but skills to last a life time!

5 College Freshman

Campus Resources: The computer labs are amazing, they have a very helpful staff. They just upgraded the WiFi on campus, and is now very fast. You can only have a certain amount of paper you can print before having to pay for it.

5 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: Tuition is well worth it. Most of the teachers at the school are more than capable to teach the subjects they are and you learn a lot from them.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: I have had no problems with the Fayette campus! It is extremely supportive in my learning experience in every aspect.

Academic Experience: My Excellent Experience – I love mt school in academics. I have a lot of work but it pays off that i am learning and being prepared for my career. The resitration process at first is mostly done for you because upper classmen have first option but basic level courses they might not need so student have a better course experience selection than most colleges. After your first semester seeing your advisor is a good option to make a positive schedule and they can get you into classes that you can't by your self comming to find out. The best study option is to read and make note cards of the most important information in your reading. Making a question then to answer that question is a good technique for studying.

5 College Sophomore

Online Courses: Math 021 Algebra – Excellent course and the teacher loves to teach math hes friendly and is willing to be flexible. He is always there to help and i mean always!

2 College Senior

Overall Experience: Should Have Gone Somewhere Else – I think I missed out on the social experience of college by not going away and living in a dorm and I didn't experience as much personal growth as I could have this way. The tuition is only slightly less than the main campus, but some of the professors are sub-par and due to the location, there is less opportunity to have hands on experience and internships.
