4 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: My college town is located in a quite area, away from the busy city life. There is a mall within 5 miles, with several department stores also located close by. There are numerous restaurants nearby, ranging from quick and cheap drive-thru meals, to sit-down, fine dining eateries.

There are several different sporting events to attend, or to participate in at our campus for which the local attitude is very positive.

Local Atmosphere: Food is expensive at Penn State, especially if you're a commuter. Other options are available, although are relatively expensive as well off campus. Shopping is great.

4 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: good atmosphere and nice people but sometimes feels like high school again
