Online Courses: I like the college. I would recommend it to you.

Academic Experience: It feels great to be in the major that i am in. Pearl River Community College has great technology teachers and the workload is also challenging. The curriculum is high and with the world relying more and more on technology, job opportunities will be easy.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: Academics are very challenging. The teachers will push students to the best of their ability. They also have great math and science labs.

4 College Junior

Student Body: The student body is well above average. Any typical student can make plenty of friends, because everyone is very friendly. There is also an equal amount of males and females. Pearl River does not discriminate; they have a wide range of acceptance.

Overall Experience: Pearl River Community College is a great school. Everyone is friendly and the campus is small. The teachers are great also.

Student Body: PRCC has a number of people that has families and work full-time jobs. I am one that has a full-time job that is trying to pay for school, which is why I have to work a full-time job. It is hard to juggle school and work< but I think it will be well worth the headaches and financial crunch in the long run.

4 College Senior

Career Services: After college I'm almost postive that I will be able to find a career job in my field, because nursing is a demanding field and PRCC has a great reputation with their training ablities to form great nurses.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The education that I recieving from PRCC is well worth the expenses that I am paying out. I am not recieving any financial aid, which is I really need, but my education is worth the money. I am very proud to attend PRCC and appreciated the education, my instructors are awesome and I love them for teaching me how to apply the information that is taught in the different levels of nursing. I really appreciate the financial aid that I was awarded in the previous semesters that I recieved, and is very thankful for the assistance from the financial office.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: My professors like to get to know students and help us in any way possible to get understanding.

5 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: The college is close and the teaches make learning fun.

Academic Flexibility: I wan't sure how to grade this because I'm in my final semester and all my classes are set in stone but the hours are great core hours allowing for study time and councilor access.

Academic Experience: W consider our school the very best associates in nursing in the area . Most medical facilities in the area hear that we are PRCC graduates and know we are ready to hit the floor running!

Campus Resources: Small town friendliness, beautiful campus that is growing and advancing leaps and bounds.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid office is always available to assist students.

Academic Experience: The program is a great one. However there are several a fees in addition to tuition.

2 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Now that I've been accepted into the RN program my tuition has increased to over 1,000+ dollar including my dorm which is 2,000+. I think there should be some type of funding for Nursing students since tuition is so high.

Online Courses: I've only taken one online course since I've been in college. I wasn't expecting it to be easy neither was I expecting for it to be hard. I can say that an online class is more work than you are expecting it to be and it also requires a lot of your time. I think if you are able to take it as a traditional class that would be the best option because online classes require just as much time and effort as a regular class would.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: There are plenty of computers labs ranging from a science lab to a math lab. We get 100 free copies but sometimes that isn't enough for the whole semester. I think there should be a printer available in every computer lab.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: There are plenty of helpful resources on campus for students to use. If one isn't available there is always a handful of others to choose from.

4 College Junior

Student Body: The student is filled with a lot of student fresh out of high school which mostly stay on campus. There is also big number older adults as well. I think the school is split in half with blacks and whites.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: As community college I think PRCC is great. It has a great atmosphere filled with a lot of positive attitudes. One thing that I love about my school is how there is extra effort put forth into helping students be successful in college. There are numerous places on campus to get extra help.

College Junior

Academic Flexibility: I do not have any experience with the academic at PRCC, yet. So sorry I can not help much with this review.

Online Courses: I can't actually give a review on PRCC online courses becasue I have not taken any and do not plan on taking any. But the reason I gave a grade C+ was because there are pros and cons for taking online classes. That being said, it's good cause you will get more finances and will not have to worry about paying for a dorm, just stay home with a laptop get things done. The bad thing is you want that experience around a teacher to verbally explain things to you, you want to have that experience with the campus life. There is really not a lot of help you can get taking online courses I know because my aunt is now taking all of her classes again online, she is going for her Bachelor's and she always asks me and my brother for help, or stressed out about getting assignments turned in on time. So stick with going to classes where you can talk to your teacher about what you are lacking to learn.

1 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: My financial aid process was easy, not complicated at all. But the process going through how I would be able to pay for college let alone still be able to attend is very stressful at the moment. I received a half career/technical scholarship from PRCC but looking over everything the scholarship is really not worth it, it wouldn't be any help. I'm from a family with no income, no jobs... so trying to figure out where am I going to get the money to attend PRCC, a junior college, it's aggravating and giving bad thoughts of even going to college, which I know is bad to think.
