Park University Reviews
Rating 3.8 out of 5 1,307 reviews
Park University is great if you are like me who doesn't like partying and is going to school for education not college life. And if you hate large classrooms. Outside of education: If you are not in the sports or orchestra theres not a whole lot to do. Anyways, I was compelled to leave a review because I feel that the professors are quite sloppy. They are very kind people, but their grammar and spelling are horrible. I am learning to be a teacher and my professors preach about spelling and grammar yet my grammarly always comes up with issues on their wordings, I constantly notice spelling errors, and canvas is always very unorganized and messed up. There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of professionalism in that sense. I understand college is more "relax" in some ways, but I expect my professors to at least check their words. It's getting frustrating having to reread assignment instructions to decipher what they are saying. I love this university but this has just gotten out of hand.
My experience at Park University has been mostly positive. I appreciate the flexibility of their online classes, which allows me to balance my studies with other commitments. The professors are generally supportive and knowledgeable, and I've enjoyed interacting with fellow students from diverse backgrounds. However, I do wish there were more extracurricular activities available to enrich my college experience. Additionally, while the campus facilities are adequate, there's room for improvement, especially in terms of updating technology and enhancing recreational areas. Overall, Park University provides a solid education, but there's potential for even greater student engagement and satisfaction with some adjustments to the extracurricular offerings and campus amenities.
I knew that when I came to Park University , I made the right decision. I love the diversity, the professors and the programs. However, the food is not very good. Everyone’s stomach seems to hurt after eating it…. The student life programs were really hard to make Park students feel welcomes and included in events. Additionally, there are a multitude of clubs on campus and if there’s not a club for you, you can always make one with the support of faculty. While Park University is a private institution, it is on the cheaper side for being a private institution.
