Facilities: The campus has many secluded areas on campus to use to study. Whether it is to meet up with a group for a project or pass time between classes, their is always an area to use.

Academic Flexibility: The ability to design your own schedules is a huge bonus. You can make a schedule that works with your obligations. Some of the more advanced classes only have a few days and times and it can be hard to work those into a schedule.

4 College Senior

Online Courses: The online course I took allowed me to work with very manageable deadlines for the assignments. I could finish them on my own time and did not need to depend on anyone but myself to finish the work.

Academic Experience: The business classes are excellent and can be tailored to a student's major focus.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: The professors are very knowledgeable about their material. The majority of them help every step of the way and want students to succeed with their education.

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: The library and computer labs are very accessible to students. There are many computers to use and staff to ask for hepl if you need it.

College Senior

Career Services: I haven't used the career services at my school.

5 College Senior

Overall Experience: The school values every student and understands that they have other obligations in their life. Students are able to choose their own education path and mold a schedule around their needs. The faculty and staff are helpful and want students to succeed.

Student Body: Most of the students commute to campus and don't have time to hang around after class. When interacting with other students, it's mostly for academic projects rather than socializing. There is diversity within the student body because students of all ages and backgrounds attend.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid process at PVCC is very simply for me. I haven't had to make any extra phone calls or go to campus to deal with any issues.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: Most business courses are located in the same building which is very convenient. The curriculum provides a broad very of the many types of business degrees. The workload is manageable and some material transfer between courses which is very helpful when studying.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: The professors have a personal interest in their classes and the subjects they teach; many of my teachers work in the field that they teach for. Registration is simple and can be done on campus or online. There are over seas study opportunities offered for those interested.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid experience at my school was very simple. The school offers many opportunities for students to earn scholarships and with reasonable requirements to maintain these scholarships. I received basically a free ride with the honors program however I did have to pay for a few courses. The education I received was worth my time and effort and I feel prepared to move on.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: There are many class options and it isn't hard creating a schedule that works with your situation. It is important to sign up as soon as possible for the classes you want.

4 College Junior

Facilities: There are many clubs that are available to students. I have enjoyed several events in the performing arts including jazz concerts, plays, film showings, etc.

3 College Junior

Student Body: There are students of all races, ages, and economic situations. I have had classes with adults who were in the process of getting a new degree or their first degree. In one of my courses there was a student from a highschool completing his associates degree.

College Junior

Career Services: There is a career center available however I have not used it.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Although I have attended a community college I have not felt as if I had missed out on anything. I enjoy the smaller community and the professors that I have had. I would choose this school again because there are teachers that are good at what they do and completing an associates before transferring is very cost effective.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: I have only take one online course because I prefer the tradition classroom experience. The class I took was done on a mixture of canvas and myitlab. The workload is very manageable even with it being a summer course that is accelerated. The registration process is the same as any other class. I am able to contact the professor if I have any questions otherwise there isn't much communication. There is no peer to peer interaction in the course unless students choose to talk on their own.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: There is an athletic center that contains all of the basic equipment to stay in shape. There is a student/tutor center where anyone can walk in and get help with their classes. The library contains a large amount of books and the online databases are very useful for research.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: There is one large computer lab that is for use by anyone, but there are several small labs where classes can be taught and teachers can reserve labs for their classes. Printing on campus costs ten cents a page and can be done in either the lab or library. The campus has wireless internet through out the school that was fairly reliable and provided decent network speeds.

College Junior

Campus Resources: I don't use the campus resources unless it's for a class or a group project. If you count the vending machines as school resources, then I know those quite well.

College Junior

Campus Resources: I never print at school unless I'm with my class because I think it's unacceptable to pay to print. I don't even do it at public libraries. I'm glad I have my own printer at home so I don't have to deal with that. And whenever I bring my laptop to school it never connects to PVCC's WiFi, and I'm not sure why because I do it the same like everyone else. So I guess the network isn't very good unless I'm using my phone.

Academic Experience: My major is accounting and so far I have really enjoyed the program that is offered at PVCC. My favorite professor so far is Jeanne Franco, she was my ACC112 professor and I really learned a lot from her unlike Ronald Brooker who teacher ACC111.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: Class registration process is really easy for me because it through the maricopa website, it's the same for SCC so it's simple since I've done it a lot of times. I've had better professors at SCC though so we'll see if PVCC professors can change my mind or not.
