Campus Resources: There is a main computer mall even though most of them don't work half of the time. There's also computers in the library but there's not many of them.

Campus Resources: There is hardly anything to do. There is a gym that recently opened but there is not much activities to engage in.

3 College Senior

Student Body: People here sometimes nice and there many races and religious people.

2 College Senior

Academic Experience: All I'm doing is the basic classes that everyone has to take like English and Math. Nothing about my major.

3 College Junior

Student Body: Havent really met anbody yet. The few I seen didnt look very friendly

1 College Junior

Career Services: I dont know much about this school and they dont really take time to explain stuff to you

Online Courses: When I went to their website I didnt see anything advertising on line classes. Their website is also very hard to navigate.

Academic Experience: Math and Science classes here at this school are LAME AF! The teachers in these departments SUCK! They have a horrible way of teaching and grading. I've tried to pass College algebra for a total of 3 semesters with different teachers, and it was a waste of time. I even went to tutoring. (still didn't help) The Chemistry is online, and it is an ABSOLUTE PAIN!! You will more than likely fail..sad to say.. However, with math and science classes, pushed aside, the rest of the classes at this college are manageable and aren't THAT bad. You can still take care of your basic classes then transfer, but BEWARE when it comes to taking math and science classes! Take it from someone who is determined to get ahead in life! Good luck!

Academic Experience: Registering for online courses proved rather difficult. Navigating through the online system was not easy either, but you get used to it in a month or so. Teachers communicated well throughout the semester, which made the experience tolerable.

Career Services: It's a small community where everyone knows everyone.

College Senior

Online Courses: I haven't taken any online courses with Palo Verde College.

Campus Resources: My math class is full of new computers. A good network reability and we also have WIFI almost in every area of our college. The computers at the library are fast and we can print. There computer lab is available all day, the computers are old but the internet works fine. We do have a good technology service.

Academic Experience: After I graduated high school I registered at Palo Verde College and I got my basic classes such as math and english. Im planning to start a Phlebotomy course on the spring semester and get my certification.

Academic Experience: I wish the financial aid and the EOPS staff were bigger. They are always behind and they make us wait a lot. The teachesr are ok. They always help me when I need it. I enjoy the classes because I know almost all my classmates from high school.

Career Services: The career center of this school is really helpful. Even though they do not offer many programs here, they do intend to help you to start off on the right path towards meeting your goals and career. The school is there to help any undergraduate or graduate student in search of advice or guidance counseling on what they think necessary for their choice of career. I was never let down by the counselors whenever I did have questions about my career. The school also has open job offers to work on campus, but they do also work to help you better yourself in finding a job that suits your career.

Academic Experience: My major is nursing and my classes, also the programs I have graduated from are really what I have expected. I haven't had to take any other classes that did not meet the nursing class prerequisites. All of the class I am taking this semester are related to my major and so far have been giving me quite the interest. Some of the material maybe dull, but there are some that do catch my attention. This major has given me the opportunity to find a job after completing state exams to receive my license as a certified nursing assistant or license vocational nurse.

Academic Experience: Many of the professors can rarely be reached when needed. But I do understand that in the state we are in, the professors are working really hard to meet all the students needs. Because they are either teaching two or three class, it is difficult to get a hold of them. Although, whenever I have a question for the teacher, they are more than happy to explain to me. Class registration is no hassle. Everything is online, but the only complain I do have is that the classes become full before I can even apply. Most of the first priority students are able to apply before the rest of the school can.

Academic Flexibility: Flexible Class Schedules – I chose this school because I thought it would be an easier way to start off my college experience and it has been wonderful. The class schedules do work around your daily hours if you work. The teachers are really helpful. The counselors really do answer all of your questions and credits can be transferred. This school was helpful from the start and will be in the future for all graduating high school students who choose to attend this school.

1 College Sophomore

Career Services: Not Much – There is one course in being an EMT, but nothing else here will help you land a job anywhere, there is no career center and no alumni network. This school is full of distance ed classes. Few teachers are great, but most are not very knowledgeable, boring, and don't seem to care about the students very much.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Small Classes and Affordable – The classes are really small and sometimes get dropped for the lack of student sign ups but, the mix of the type of students is so vast. Non-traditional to fresh out of high school students come here and get a different experience than what most would in a college aimed at only young students.

Campus Resources: Palo Verdes computer lab was so easily accessible, and completely modern. As soon as you enter the campus its directly in the middle and you cant miss it.Whenever you need it the hours work well with a lot students availability.

4 College Senior

Online Courses: I enjoyeed Palo Verde College on-line courses. I work well byself and approved of the ease of access to my on-line courses, and if I needed any help I could recieve it quickly through a simple e-mail to my instructor.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: I'm really emjoying my time at Palo Verde College. The only hassles I recieved from the Financial Aide Department were from my Tribal Financial Aide Department, and lack of communication between the two departments. The college and employees were all so helpful throughout my college career and any questions I had were always answered quickly and thoroughly. I had a great time with all the teachers and even when I worked on my own through distant education classes. They offered tutoring and always asked if my classes were going well and if I needed help with anything. I had a great college experience at Palo Verde and would definately pursuade others to attend Palo Verde College.
