Tuition & Financial Aid: Just a run of the mill CC

5 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: I usually get the minimum of what I need for financial aid. I have had instances where I had to pay for 3-4 classes out of my own pocket because financial aid didn't cover it, no fun at all!

1 College Freshman

Campus Resources: The people in the computer room and learning center are the NICEST! very helpful. Other than that the people in the student store and counselors in the student center are non helpful and just want to get the student out of their office as soon as possible. Not friendly at all!

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Some of the students I met there are great studying partners and some of the professors are awesome! I get to see old friends. School is school though, they have a great hangout area and game room to just hangout during classes which was my favorite to socialize with new people. I want to just get my AA and transfer though, wouldn't recommend staying all 4 years.

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience: Some of the teachers are great with helping with workload and actually teaching the class. Other professors aren't as helpful and just read off the slides. It really depends on what professor you choose.

2 College Freshman

Academic Experience: Some of the professors are awesome while others are just there to just do their job and not help out of the classroom. The counselors aren't helpful AT ALL! they don't know what is or what is not required for a degree and they didn't help me at all when I asked them how to transfer to FAU, WORST STAFF EVER.

4 College Freshman

Career Services: They really try to help you if you take the time and effort out of your day to look into careers that might interest you. If you have no clue what you want to do in life they will help you figure out what suits you as well.

3 College Freshman

Student Body: I only see the student body once in awhile but they havent made any obvious changes to help or better our school.

5 College Sophomore

Facilities: The campus life in at Palm Beach Sate is alot of fun, and peaceful as well. There are alot of benches to sit and relax on, and the view of the fountains are really peaceful. The library's are a few walking steps away, and serve students when they need help with writing reports, or just lounging around and reading a good book.

4 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: The value of education I am gaining is well worth the cost! So many wonderful Professors make my college journey alot more easier than I thought! The financial aid office is kind, and they listen with all the questions I have.

5 College Sophomore

Student Body: Palm Beach State College has amazing, and kind students. Everyone is unique and different in their own fun way! The differences in everyones style, views, and other diverse qualities all come together and make one big artistic, and hard working group of students.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Applying to the college was easy and did not take very long. Once applied picking classes was very easy. Classes have limited availability for night classes and they usually get booked very quickly.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: The path to my major is very interesting since I plan to transfer to a University to complete my Bachelors and then enter the dental school program.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: There are some amazing professors that I have learned a lot from. The class registration process is very easy and is completed online.

3 College Junior

Career Services: I have only been to the career center once and it was not very helpful.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: I tried an online class in the previous semester because or my schedule at work. I personally did not like the idea of having to teach myself most of the material since I am visual learner. The workload was increased and ultimately consumed my life. I prefer in the future to go to class rather then taking a class online.
