3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: This is just a place that is less expensive than a university and not egregiously far from home. I am just biding my time till I get my AA degree

2 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: Transferring credits has not been easy at all. Everyone that I have dealt with gives me the run-around

College Sophomore

Online Courses: I have not taken online courses at my school

4 College Sophomore

Student Body: There is much diversity in many facets: ethnic, economic, political, religious, and sexual. I feel that such diversity is needed for progression of society.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The process to receiving financial aid can be pretty time consuming. I have had to go in/ class the aid office numerous times to take of balances before time ran out.

Academic Experience: There isn't alot of choices for the psychology degree after the AA. It is pretty much all the classes needed to transfer. So although it is limited in the amount of classes particularly for psych, the school helps with my transfer process.

3 Recent Alumnus

Academic Experience: There are a wide range of classes available. From Portuguese to English literature before the 1800s, there are a vast numbers of options. There are classes available at other campuses too so if one campus doesn't offer it, 9/10 the other one does.

3 Recent Alumnus

Academic Flexibility: Its pretty difficult to keep everything (school/ work/ family/ friends) all in a nicely wrapped bubble that never overlaps. But more times than not, things collide & cause tension. Its moderately difficult. I can't say its impossible, but it takes serious dedication and effort to achieve success.

Campus Resources: Though the campus is not big, there are many buildings with different activities within them. The library, for instance, includes exclusive areas that people can request to use for studying. The science building contains classes, labs and also the athletic center.

3 Recent Alumnus

Campus Resources: Within the BB building, on the second floor is a computer lab. Having about 20 computers both to the left & right, it is prepared for those students who need to get things done before school officially begins. There are only 2 printers available though, so it can get really ugly if tempers are running high. At times, the printing cost rises, and sometimes it falls.

Career Services: At present, the process is pretty awesome. All I had to do was send my school(s) of choice an official transcript and wait to hear back from them. The transcripts cost about & 5/10 and take no time to print. Its the waiting for the school to reply that takes the longest time.

Online Courses: I've taken a hybrid class (where we meet in class one day & the next day its online), a class where my teacher had quizzes/notes for us online, and a complete online class. As you can see, there are many different types of online classes. They differ from regular classroom teaching because it lacks the human interaction associated with classroom learning. But at least there is a given deadline, and you can work at it in the convenience of home or library.

3 Recent Alumnus

Student Body: The student body at PBSC is extremely diverse. This gives way to many different viewpoints and approaches to situations. For example, one person may not be an avid reader but a lover of everything science while another person could be the exact opposite! The diversity keeps things fresh/ lively & entertaining.

3 College Student

Online Courses: My online classes help me just as much as a lecture class would that meets every week. It really depends on the person though.

College Junior

Online Courses: I haven't taken online courses.
