4 College Freshman

Scholarships: I got sufficient financial aid from grants and scholarships from the school itself. I raised my scholarship by $1000 by taking the ACT and getting a good score. I would suggest that you call the financial office nearing the beginning of the school year and ask them if they have any extra aid to give since they should know how much they're giving to the registered students, and they might have some $$ left.

Facilities: The fitness center could use more windows, the weight rooms all right, the campus center is nice, and the libraries has four floors with plenty of windows and space. There's not a lot of campus traditions, but there's a lot of intramurals.

Computers: They let you print for free, the internet works really fast if you have the cable, and you probably might want a printer if you don't want to run to the library late at night.

Academics: I'm currently doing a double major in Exercise Science and Music. The faculty and students in the music department are very approachable and helpful and they really care about you. It's like an extended family. The faculty in exercise science department are also really helpful and kind. Some seem unapproachable, but once you know them they're really amazing people.

Academics: They have a TLC where you get tutoring and help for classes, the library and the campus center are really popular places for studying, but you need to register early for classes because they fill up very quickly.

Parking: You don't need a car on campus unless you live in Mcreynolds or Nichol Hall, or if you are in aviation

Facilities: Overall the facilities at PUC are good. The library and campus center are nice and are good places to hang out.

Scholarships: The financial aid at PUC is pretty good. They understand that it is somewhat expensive to attend school there and try to help you as much as they can.

Off-Campus Housing: It is almost impossible to live off-campus. PUC is isolated on a hill and off the hill, almost everything around is wineries and hotels or bed and breakfasts; not many places to live.

Guys & Girls: There is a good variety of people on campus. The people here are pretty attractive, smart, and outgoing

Overall Experience: PUC is a good school. The academics, social life, and community are all great. The main negative is the location.

Campus Dining: The food at PUC is average. A huge negative is the fact that they don't serve meat at all on campus, because of the religious affiliation. There are only about three options for lunch and dinner and generally one option for breakfast and late dinner.

Academics: For my specific major it is not great here. They recently added a new major, History, Political Studies, and Ethics, which acts as their Poli Sci major. The History Department is good and so are the professors. The curriculum is also good.

5 College Freshman

Academics: The overall academics at PUC are great. They have great professors and the registration process is super easy. Also, you almost always get the classes you want. PUC is great for any type of health major.

Greek Life: There is no Greek life at PUC and it is not allowed on campus.
