4 College Junior

Career Services: They offer assistance in job prospects. The nursing industry is a very good profession to get into, not hard to find a job.

Academic Experience: This school offers a variety of medical programs. The registration process was fun, and easy. Paperwork was easy and very thorough. The administrative staff goes above and beyond to help make the process seamless. They offer both weekday and weekend classes, as well as evening programs. I found it very easy. The only downfall thus far has been financial aid. I expected more help from the financial aid department, I did a lot of work on my own to find scholarships etc.

Student Body: The student body is focused. A good variety of students, and both male and female students in our nursing program. Diversity is always prevalent in California.

Academic Flexibility: This school offers no online classes. They do however have Mon-Fri classes, or weekend classes. They accommodate the working parents. The flexibility was amazing. They have 3 different locations in Southern California, Long Beach, City of Commerce and Costa Mesa-- So one of them have to be close and convenient. They offer several programs and are a little pricey, but they are VERY Flexible!

Academic Flexibility: We are pretty much free to come up with our own school schedule. Day or night and as full time or part time as we want. I do feel that class availability is somewhat limited so it makes it difficult to come up with a realistic schedule that fits around my work schedule sometimes. I also think that the full time schedule is slightly too intense and difficult to maintain

Student Body: I would say the student body is a great mix of men and women, young and old, and a decent race diversity. Most students either work or have families and are highly motivated individuals.

Academic Experience: I am a Marriage and Family Therapist major. The best way to learn is through experience and apply the theory behind it. All the classes that are in the curriculum are expected to be used everyday of my career. At the present moment I am taking Law and Ethics, which we learn all the laws in order to do my job at the best of my ability. As well, the ethical part about it is that as therapist I need to be ethical regarding my future clients and not over-analyze any situation.

Career Services: Currently I am still enrolled in Pacific Oaks College. The transition was very easy with no complications or dauts about starting graduate school. All the offices send e-mails for updates on school activities and deadlines, making it easier for all students. As well, I find it to be a great school because its small and people are more focused. This school is great to have hands on experience everyone feeds of of each-others personal experiences, making it useful for the career world.

Campus Resources: Student Interests – the schhol has the reputation to help a student if they are struggling in tutoring... on hands

College Junior

Overall Experience: Life Changing – this school has its students inmind. They have the program to where full-time workers and mothers can actually go to school. School is 2 days out of the week & 2 days on the weekend.

Academic Experience: Someone Is Always There to Help – One thing that I do enjoy and love about my school is the tight knit community it has. The professors are always at hand and they give you there home phone number to call them or email them if we need help on our home assignments. They are there to help us and give us feed back on our assignments. The professors offer us a different perspective on different topics. They give us a lot of homework but It's not like we cannot handle it. If there is a problem they are considerate of the situation that your in. The classes are small so it's easier to have that interaction not only with the professor but also with classmates. There are also student centers that provide tutors and guidance if you need the help. If you want to switch majors it's pretty fast and easy.I have to say that everything is fast and easy. If you need help someone is always there to help.
