Online Courses: I had never had any type of college courses online or in a classroom, and when I signed up for online classes for the first semester, many people told me it was hard and I would be wishing I had never took online classes. I was very nervous at first, but it was not bad at all! I actually loved it!! The workload was intimidating until I got the hang of it, it was different not having peers to interact with or a teacher to answer back to you verbally, but overall it was good! Registration can be a bit confusing if the internet is running slow the day you register, but it's not bad either.

Career Services: The career services are wonderful! There is a variety of choices of job prospects and the career pathways help students be able to make ends meet and tie up loose ends. I have met some of the alumni but only for a few moments, but they all asked me if everything was going according to my plans. They seem to be caring and concerned for the students.

Academic Flexibility: I had the choice of going to three different campus' of this college, each campus had different hours for the classes I am taking. When the campus I chose decided to change their class times and day times, I didn't have any trouble getting switched over to one of the other campus'

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition is not as bad as I expected it to be. I thought it would be much higher. The only thing that bothered me was, the college doesn't contact the students there to let them know the deadline for scholarships. I was not aware there was a scholarship available and when I finally got the chance to go online just to browse the website and check my school mail, I stumbled across it. I feel they should announce the scholarships available toward the end of the school year. That way we all have a chance at them!

Online Courses: The online courses that I took were interesting. It was different from tradition courses and sometimes easier for me. The workload was manageable as long as I remembered to give myself enough time to do the work before it was due. The peer-to-pee interactions was mainly through the discussions that were assigned each week.

Facilities: The social scene at the campus is interesting. There is the cyber cafe were people can go to eat, study, and socialize. It is the main spot that students gather at between classes.

Student Body: The typical student at Ozaka is an everyday person. I went to the Ash Flat campus so most of the students were people that lived in the area. They ranged from fresh out of high school to people who when to art classes because they had free time.

Campus Resources: All my classes are online and I do a lot of my work at the school. I have always been able to use a computer and the only trouble I have had was sometimes the printer likes to jam up when you have to print a lot of papers. but I think that problem has been fixed. All the staff is helpful and great at answering any questions you might have.

Student Body: Everyone is accepted at Ozarka. As a freshman, a person may unfortunately run into a few classmates that still act like high school freshman, but that is rare. People of all ages, genders, races, and abilities attend side by side without issue. Most everyone gets along fine. For the most part, we are focused on our studies, but there are some opportunities to get involved in school decisions and activities.

For example, when gun laws became such a huge issue, we all gathered to say what we needed to say and vote on what our school policy would be.

I also participated in an "Australian Walk-About." It was a virtual tour of Australia. We logged the miles we walked on the treadmill, on the track, or at home. When we reached a destination, there was a flyer describing some about the city, culture, and history. When we walked all the way around Australia, we had a party!
