Academic Experience: My professors and advisers were very helpful when it came to deciding a major.

Academic Experience: This is a great community college to go to if you're interested in getting into the medical field.

Facilities: The arts program is really cool!

Academic Flexibility: OCTC is very helpful when it comes to the transferring credits.

3 Recent Alumnus

Online Courses: Online courses are nice to have but know the workload is typically a lot more than your average campus class.

4 Recent Alumnus

Student Body: The student body at my school is very diverse and pretty friendly.

Overall Experience: I have enjoyed my time at this college, the faculty are very nice and a large majority of my teachers care about the students.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Tuition is not bad at all, well worth it for a community college.

Campus Resources: The faculty are very helpful, I would suggest going to OCTC.

Student Body: We are very diverse here at OCTC. Especially in age. A lot of us are at different points in our life, and so its hard to really make a solid group of friends. However, I don't think our student body is really here to socialize. We are here to get our credits. So it's not a downfall.

Campus Resources: We have a library on campus with many computer available for use. This has been very helpful for me. Student life isn't huge here, most of us are here to go to class and then go home. Our student center is basically an open room with some tables, chairs, vending machine, and a pool table.

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: Like I previously said, computer labs are available for use and are very helpful. We use Blackboard here, which is very easy to navigate. It only sucks when it doesn't want to work.

3 College Senior

Career Services: I haven't had much experience with our career center. I know they offer many services but I haven't had the chance to experience them yet.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: I do feel that I've really learned a lot. Community colleges have the stereotype that they aren't "real" schools, but I think that if you are willing to come in with an open mind, you can learn something.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: Typical programs for a community college. Many programs available for those interested in the medical field, so if you aren't interested in that you will probably be in need of a transfer after reaching your associates degree. That's expected though.

4 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: Most teachers are very flexible unless you as the student are being absolutely ridiculous

4 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Financial Aid has completely paid for my schooling and provided me with scholarship opportunities that have helped me succeed.

3 College Senior

Online Courses: Online classes are okay, depending on which teacher you get. Some teachers can be hard to reach, while others are actually accessible. Content wise, you may learn from the class, or you might walk away feeling like you've learned nothing. Your success in online classes really depends on you. Are you willing to commit the time and effort?

5 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: I am thankful for the options available to me due to my work/home life.

College Sophomore

Career Services: I am not familiar with this portion of my school.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: The major I am seeking isn't in as high of a demand as I had originally thought. Regardless, I feel it will help me find a better paying job.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: There is a lot to choose from. However, I wish they had the Ultrasound (sonography) program available.

4 College Sophomore

Online Courses: I am very happy with the online courses. It saves me time having to travel to school. This way I can be home and work at my own pace.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: If you need help, it's all there for you. The staff is very knowledgeable, and they WANT YOU to succeed!

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: It was horrible for a while. However, it has greatly improved over the past 4 months.
