Academic Flexibility: I am thankful for the options available to me due to my work/home life.

College Sophomore

Career Services: I am not familiar with this portion of my school.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: The major I am seeking isn't in as high of a demand as I had originally thought. Regardless, I feel it will help me find a better paying job.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: There is a lot to choose from. However, I wish they had the Ultrasound (sonography) program available.

4 College Sophomore

Online Courses: I am very happy with the online courses. It saves me time having to travel to school. This way I can be home and work at my own pace.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: If you need help, it's all there for you. The staff is very knowledgeable, and they WANT YOU to succeed!

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: It was horrible for a while. However, it has greatly improved over the past 4 months.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I was terrified of going to college. The teachers have been so helpful and I feel they are the reason I have done better than I thought I would! :)

4 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: I have been satisfied with the financial aid process. Everyone is very helpful and friendly.

3 College Sophomore

Facilities: It's the only college I've been to, so it's hard to judge it compared to other campuses.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: The staff has always been excellent with working with you to get the perfect schedule for your life style

4 College Freshman

5 College Freshman

5 College Freshman

5 College Freshman

Campus Resources: Theres free wifie for personal computers and computers in every class room the and they'll even put microsoft office on our personal laptops for free!

3 College Freshman

Student Body: theres a lot of diversity

5 College Freshman

Facilities: easy to navigate and find class rooms subjects are grouped together not spread out

4 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: I took online classes this semester and one face to face class and the teachers are easy to get ahold of through email if i need help.

3 College Senior

Facilities: I suppose the thing that makes OCTC unique is the community setting. Since many students are from Daviess county or surrounding counties, there is a home-like feel to the campus. Most of my teachers are from Owensboro so they understand the difficulties this town has and how to work around those bumps in the road. It does make the teachers more likable since we are able to share similar experiences.

3 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: Overall, the flexibility with the scheduling has been great. I have a work schedule that is set in stone so I cannot leave work early in order to go to a class. Since I'm only off for a couple days a week, I am able to set my classes around that so I still have enough time to do homework, ask questions, visit my teachers, etc.

4 College Senior

Online Courses: I prefer to take online classes compared to in-class options. Personally, the flexibility of being able to do my homework in my jammies compared to having to get out in subzero temperatures is what makes online classes so great for me. Chances are, there will be more work but I do not mind that. The only other con I would have to mention is that there a lack of communication among the professors and students, but most classes do have online forum threads that do keep that line of communication flowing.

3 College Senior

Student Body: OCTC does have a wide number of students, but it does lack diversity. I wish that there was more diversity among the students to broaden our learning horizon.

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience: It depends on what you're majoring in, nursing and engineering are their strongest.

4 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: They are good at transferring.

College Freshman

Online Courses: I am scheduled for an online class so i haven't experienced it yet.
