4 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: Everyone is extremely nice and friendly. It is very easy to make new friends and not ever feel alone at this school.

4 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: Everyone is there to get an education not to look good for people.

3 College Junior

Guys & Girls: There are a few attractive girls but just a few.

3 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: Because it is a small school-everyone knows everything. It's safe to say that any relationship or hook-up is a common knowledge as well as conversation between students. There are significantly more girls than guys, which makes it slim pickings and many egos. Students are very interested in each other, but much of it is done on the down low. No students go out of their way to dress nice or differently in particular, the standard outfit is sweats, sneakers, and a t-shirt.

3 College Junior

Guys & Girls: The school has a very diverse student body, something/one for evryone.

Most of the students here are very polite, friendly, outgoing, and fun-loving. But, there is very little diversity on campus—most of the students here are from the Valley region or El Paso and are Hispanic. Physically, a good portion of the people on campus is overweight. The guys are little more reserved, while the girls will greet you even if they do not know you. Many students here are extroverted, so they may occasionally have a hard time getting along with introverts or people who think and act in a different way. There are also some students who think they are somebody special, when they really have the same problems and background as everybody else here.

OLLU guys typically look like jocks or gangster-wannabes. This doesn’t mean they act tough—they just like to portray themselves as gangsters in a fun way. The girls range from tomboys to preps, and they seem to be very interested in some kind of romantic relationship, for the most part. While not everyone is attractive, there is a good number of guys and girls to keep your romantic interests high.

Social Scene
It's easy to make friends because there are so many opportunities to socialize on campus. Every winter, just before the holiday break, there is a very formal, romantic ball called Candle Light. This is the perfect opportunity to ask that special someone for a date or dance. The student body here is full of fun-loving people who are easygoing and talkative. The atmosphere at OLLU is welcoming, and there is no hiding in your room.
Hookups or Relationships?
Walking around campus, it's hard to miss the couples. However, the dating scene here seems a little divided. For example, athletes usually date one another, the art and music majors date each other, the science majors date each other, and so on.
Dress Code
There isn't a set dress code at OLLU like there is at some Catholic schools. The business majors will wear business attire and Sunday best most days, especially the seniors, and the preps tend to wear the most expensive clothing. If you have a job on campus, a dress code might be in effect, but otherwise, as long as you are covered, anything goes-just don't streak!
