3 College Junior

Guys & Girls: The campus has a mix of single and married students. Many people here are interested in outdoor life, community happenings, music, etc.

3 College Junior

Diversity: We are fairly white, with a growing number of Native American and Latino and Latina influence.

2 College Junior

Scholarships: Hard to research, hard to get.

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: Lots of cart options, some affordable ethnic food, and the usual chains.

3 College Junior

Greek Life: Greek life is not a big presence.

3 College Junior

Nightlife: There are choices for music all week, frequently with access for minors.

4 College Junior

Facilities: Location is a big deal-- Bend is beautiful, the Cascade mountains and lakes are right here, and there are many sunny days to enjoy them.

4 College Junior

Drug Safety: The campus is still physically part of the community college, with very little on-site living. Drug and alcohol use takes place elsewhere.

4 College Junior

Academics: There are currently fewer options than at the Corvallis campus, but the quality of teaching is very high.

4 College Junior

Weather: Lots of sun. Long winters, but if you ski, that's a plus.

4 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: It is a friendly town with lost of outdoor recreation opportunities. Cost of living can be a little high, and while public transportation is available, it is still developing. The university is expanding to a four-year campus, which should change everything.

3 College Junior

Drug Safety: never see anyone using anything on the campus in the years iv been there.

2 College Junior

Scholarships: slow and confusing.. i have had terms where i don't get my aid tell week 8 or 9 into the term

3 College Junior

Health & Safety: decent security.. everywhere..! they write tickets like no other, even though there is no parking

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: students don't get discounts on anything in the town.

2 College Junior

Overall Experience: the college has been building up to be a real college ever since i started going her 5 years ago(still not there). the advising is terrible, seeing how i won't get my bachelor degree for 6 years and have never failed a class.

3 College Junior

Computers: never enough computer for everyone that wants to use them, printing cost are ridiculous, and the library holds 30 computers.

3 College Junior

Athletics: there aren't any sport for the school of the OSU Cascades.

3 College Junior

Greek Life: everyone is seen as the same pretty much.

3 College Junior

Facilities: a few club here and there of about 20 members, but other then that the social life of the students is dwelling compared to other colleges.

3 College Junior

Academics: average teachers for an average college

1 College Junior

Parking: everyday no one can find spots. you have to leave 30 mins early to find a spot. then students are late and it disrupts class

3 College Junior

Campus Dining: not very well known for having good food. very few eat there, i have never.

3 College Junior

Scholarships: The process involved filling out a FAFSA application, and signing up for Direct Deposit once I qualified. I would like better and more information about available scholarships and grants for graduate students who do not have the opportunity to student teach within their program.

Off-Campus Housing: OSU-Cascades is located in Bend really close to downtown and the Old Mill so finding housing that is affordable is super easy. Finding roommates is easy too!
