3 College Junior

Parking: Plenty off parking, but not close enough to dorm

College Freshman

Parking: I don't have a car, but the parking lots are many.

5 College Junior

Parking: ONLY ISSUE WITH PARKING IS THAT THE MAIN PARKING LOT IS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE HILL OF WHERE THE ACTUAL CAMPUS SITS. SO PREPARE YOURSELF FOR A LITTLE CLIMB!

3 College Junior

Parking: Parking spots do fill up very quickly, so one has to get there fairly early if a good parking spot is desired. The distance from classes is not unreasonable compared to other colleges.

4 College Freshman

Parking: You don't really need a car, it's a small town. Look into a bike.

There are virtually no problems with parking at the University. There are two lots for students, and open parking spots are very easy to find. One lot is for everybody with a student permit, and the other lot is a bit closer to the dorms but only student leaders, such as RAs and head academic peer advisers, have permission to park in this lot. But regardless of the lot, it is very easy to find a parking spot, and permits are not too expensive.

However, there is one thing to watch out for. Students need to be careful where they park because if they are in the wrong lot, Public Safety will not hesitate to give them a ticket!

Getting a Parking Permit
Students can purchase a permit at any time from the Department of Public Safety. Only student leaders, such as head RAs, head APAs, and some other positions, qualify for a permit to a lot that is a little closer to the dorms; all other permits allow parking in the upper lot.
