Facilities: It is a very great campus. Spacious, nice lace to hang out. All the facilities are perfect and available as needed.

Scholarships: I applied for scholarship and I received some amount. It was smooth and going well. I would say that preparation is very important.

Campus Strictness: The campus is at a perfect location. Security officers are doing the job very well. Every one feel safe.

Off-Campus Dining: The campus is in the middle of Tulsa so everything you could ever think of is about in a 5 mile radius.

Campus Strictness: Oral Roberts University is very strict on their rules but however they do not do it in a harsh manner.

Athletics: We are a fairly small private university. We, as students, are trying to be more involved and helping out the students to get more involved in their school activities.

Local Atmosphere: Even though it's in town there are still huge parks, a lot of trees still around, and beautiful houses

Guys & Girls: Pretty much everyone is very friendly. There don't appear to be any clicks either which is nice. Almost everyone is athletic because it is required that we work out at my school. Most of the people at school have great clothing style too. I highly doubt if you asked to sit at a stranger's table with them they would tell you no.

Campus Housing: The dorm that I lived in was the cheapest. It wasn't nasty it was just extremely small. And the walls are thin enough that you can here two doors down. If the girls were up laughing and screaming you weren't sleeping unless you had headphones. I slept with headphones in my ears every single night. The bathrooms were four showers with curtains and two toilets and my floor had a handicap bathroom. We were surprisingly never in each others way. The women came and cleaned enough that it was never dirty.

Scholarships: The school does try to help the best they can the only problem is that unless you are willing to accept all loans the government offers you they won't offer you any more help. The school does expect you to make most of your own money and the rest covered by loans. It's costs a lot to go to this school but it's a great safe school.

Campus Strictness: Our school does not allow drugs, tobacco, or alcohol which I love. They also don't allow opposite genders in the floors the only time they can visit each other is in the lobby downstairs; I love that also. They have card access and if you are a male trying to get into the elevator to go up into the girl's floors it won't let you and vice versa if you are a girl you can't go into the guy's floor.

College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: I don't know about the off campus housing because I live on campus.

Academics: I have access to a great library. They have a prayer tower which is extremely important to me. They have chapel twice a week and worship nights every other Thursday which is wonderful. There is a church across the road from the school that gladly works with ORU students.

Academics: I don't have a problem with the workload. It is hard work and I study everyday almost all day but it's college I wouldn't expect anything less. The best place to study is the library it's always warm in the winter and decent in the summer and quiet if you find an empty corner.

Overall Experience: The teachers care about each student! They will do whatever they can to help, they make themselves available even after office hours. They are very friendly and personable. They are also very professional. The classes are kept small too.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: The school is always having career recruiters come to the school.

Off-Campus Dining: The best place to go is Ihop which is a couple blocks away. It's 24/7 and they understand when we walk in and order coffee and pull out our homework that it's going to be a late night.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: I don't like how few restaurants we have that we can pay for with our meal plan. I get very tired of eating the same foods for the several months that I'm there. I don't have money to eat off campus like some students. The cafeteria food isn't bad but it's not great. It's pretty normal for college students to stay up all night studying and although chick-fil-a stays open until midnight some nights...our chick-fil-a is an express version and it's NOT good.

5 College Sophomore

Diversity: There are people from over 50 different countries; it's amazing!

College Sophomore

Greek Life: I'm not Greek and I don't know any Greek people so I have no idea.

Majors: The internships I have done have been incredibly helpful!

Majors: Admission was not hard, but GPA is important.

Guys & Girls: First thing, is that if anyone is undergoing any emotion towards the opposite sex, do not misunderstand by my bubbling of it "widely unaccepted" which is true because this is a school based around living a life centered around Jesus Christ. Now with that being said, there is no judgement towards a persons decision, we cannot judge someone when we ourselves our facing our own battles. There are many different people who come from all sorts of places, and praise God if you decide to come here if you are living an unstable lifestyle because this is the place to grow and be set free from the chains that the enemy has placed on you. So do not feel condemned or judged because what you will get is more love and understanding. In regards to the men and women, you will find all sorts of ages, married to single, who are from Africa, South America, Asia, Europe, and the United States et cetera, so do not worry of finding a "soulmate" because the most important thing is living a life for God and not of yourselves. Putting Him first will allow other doors to open for you in the future so don't worry.

4 College Sophomore

Majors: There are many majors and minors to choose from. The process of applying is simple and nothing unusual. All you have to have are good grades, and letters of recommendation.

Nearly everyone at ORU said that if they had to make their college decision all over again, they would still choose this university. Students give high marks to the strong Christian community here, and say that the professors and students are approachable, kind, and helpful. Another positive is the size of the school—it’s easy enough to get personal attention from the teachers, but the school is still large enough that you’ll regularly be able to meet lots of new, unique people.

Overall, Oral Roberts University is a great place for anyone who has a strong desire to become spiritually awake, intellectually alert, physically disciplined, professionally competent, and socially adept!
