Facilities: Student life on campus is healthy and fun. There are many gatherings that keep the student body active and involved.

Overall Experience: The professors are great at ORU. They are extremely educated and a multitude of courses are provided that stimulate the mind and heart.

5 College Senior

Overall Experience: ORU is a nationally respected degree that holds weight in all job fields. Career prospects are endless for all students.

Off-Campus Dining: There are many different options to eat around campus. Not always healthy options, but definitely tasty.

Guys & Girls: Guys and girls are just the same as any other college students, except we live to a bit of a more moral standard due to our strong belief in Jesus.

5 College Senior

Majors: I am a New Testament major and I absolutely love it. I learn so much from my teachers and grow in my relationship with God daily.

5 College Senior

Majors: Once you get accepted into the school, it is fairly easy to get into the theology department. You just have to select a major in the theology department.

Scholarships: The scholarships are an absolute blessing. Even if you don't get the amount of money you want, everyone who wants to get a scholarship is able to.

3 College Senior

Nightlife: It's tulsa, OK so the nightlife isn't incredible, but there are still some unique and cool places to see.

Campus Dining: The food is decent. I wouldn't say I am really excited to eat it, but it's bearable and food is food.

Off-Campus Dining: The campus is in the middle of Tulsa so everything you could ever think of is about in a 5 mile radius.

Campus Strictness: Oral Roberts University is very strict on their rules but however they do not do it in a harsh manner.

Athletics: We are a fairly small private university. We, as students, are trying to be more involved and helping out the students to get more involved in their school activities.

Local Atmosphere: Even though it's in town there are still huge parks, a lot of trees still around, and beautiful houses

Guys & Girls: Pretty much everyone is very friendly. There don't appear to be any clicks either which is nice. Almost everyone is athletic because it is required that we work out at my school. Most of the people at school have great clothing style too. I highly doubt if you asked to sit at a stranger's table with them they would tell you no.

Campus Housing: The dorm that I lived in was the cheapest. It wasn't nasty it was just extremely small. And the walls are thin enough that you can here two doors down. If the girls were up laughing and screaming you weren't sleeping unless you had headphones. I slept with headphones in my ears every single night. The bathrooms were four showers with curtains and two toilets and my floor had a handicap bathroom. We were surprisingly never in each others way. The women came and cleaned enough that it was never dirty.

Scholarships: The school does try to help the best they can the only problem is that unless you are willing to accept all loans the government offers you they won't offer you any more help. The school does expect you to make most of your own money and the rest covered by loans. It's costs a lot to go to this school but it's a great safe school.

Campus Strictness: Our school does not allow drugs, tobacco, or alcohol which I love. They also don't allow opposite genders in the floors the only time they can visit each other is in the lobby downstairs; I love that also. They have card access and if you are a male trying to get into the elevator to go up into the girl's floors it won't let you and vice versa if you are a girl you can't go into the guy's floor.

College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: I don't know about the off campus housing because I live on campus.

5 College Sophomore

Academics: I have access to a great library. They have a prayer tower which is extremely important to me. They have chapel twice a week and worship nights every other Thursday which is wonderful. There is a church across the road from the school that gladly works with ORU students.

5 College Sophomore

Academics: I don't have a problem with the workload. It is hard work and I study everyday almost all day but it's college I wouldn't expect anything less. The best place to study is the library it's always warm in the winter and decent in the summer and quiet if you find an empty corner.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: The teachers care about each student! They will do whatever they can to help, they make themselves available even after office hours. They are very friendly and personable. They are also very professional. The classes are kept small too.

Nearly everyone at ORU said that if they had to make their college decision all over again, they would still choose this university. Students give high marks to the strong Christian community here, and say that the professors and students are approachable, kind, and helpful. Another positive is the size of the school—it’s easy enough to get personal attention from the teachers, but the school is still large enough that you’ll regularly be able to meet lots of new, unique people.

Overall, Oral Roberts University is a great place for anyone who has a strong desire to become spiritually awake, intellectually alert, physically disciplined, professionally competent, and socially adept!
