College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: There is not much to do besides go out to eat, go to the bars, or exercise at the lake. For heavily academic people, this will not be a problem. For people looking for a vibrant city-like atmosphere, this is not the place. It is a small college town whose activity revolves around the campus.

Local Atmosphere: Although Stillwater, Oklahoma can be a college town, I feel as if it is not as diverse school-wise. When I came to Oklahoma State I was surrounded by the typical majority: Caucasian guys and girls. Since I am part of the Hispanic Student Association, it would be nice to see other types of races attend our events just as we do when we go support other organizations.

As for the town, it is small and has the college feel but I feel as if it needs more "tourist attractions" instead of just having the school itself be the attraction. I enjoy the off-campus restaurants but since this is college, many of the things that are close to campus are bars for people 21+.

Local Atmosphere: It's just like any other city in Oklahoma. There are things to do, but nothing that really interests me. I do visit the Humane Society of Stillwater a lot though.

4 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: This town has everything you need. The local atmosphere is very unique and has that small town and tight community feel.

Local Atmosphere: not the best, not the worst
