Scholarships: The financial aid I received was helpful, but I have run into a road block in the sense that I come from a family of five children, where my parents make enough according to the government that I don't qualify for a lot of need-based aid, even though most of what my parents make goes into the cost of living and maintaining a house with four children still at home. My advice would be to apply early for finical aid, and to apply for any and all scholarships you qualify for.

Majors: I have not as of yet taken any internships, but from what I have heard they are good opportunities and the pay is decent, propotionaly to what is being asked of the intern.

Majors: The youth ministry program was not difficult to get into, I simply declared my major as youth ministry, and that was it, I was part of the Bible College YM program. The honors program was slightly more complicated. There was an application, certain requirements from high school work, and the submission of a research essay done in high school needed in order to apply to the program. The essay I used was one I completed for some of my high school requirements, the application was not difficult, and the other requirements matched up with my personal high school goals. All in all, the process was made as easy for me as possible.

Off-Campus Dining: It's probably like most off-campus dining. We've got chains, fast food, and places we can use school points, but there are also some spots unique to the. area that are stellar. There are some places that are yet undiscovered, but seem to be promising.

Facilities: The campus is absolutely gorgeous. The buildings are relatively modern, even the older structures, and are equipped and updated with features to keep them comfortable. There is a lot of open space around campus, and even a trail around the edge of campus for running, biking, etc. There is a lot of opportunities to get involved, and traditions like Take Flight, First Night, First Week Follies, Freshman Fanfare, and Spring Sing bring everyone together and are a lot of fun.

Off-Campus Housing: I don't really know a whole lot about off-campus housing, as I am only a sophomore, and thus required to stay on campus, as I do not have special permission, and am not 21.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I have felt so at home while at school. The professors take genuine interest in how you are doing, and many will remember names and details of what you've spoken about. The courses are challenging without being overwhelming, even in the honors program. And professors push you to the limits of what you can do. Class sizes, once you are out of gen. ed. courses, are relatively small and many times, you share classes with many of the same people, especially in the College of Biblical Studies.

Overall Experience: The professors are well connected at OC, and this makes internships available if they are needed. There are also job fairs held periodically, where students can look for internships and many times, there are job offers given before graduation. Career services regularly sends out emails and notifications of available jobs and internships with their specifications, making it relatively simple to find one.

Athletics: School spirt is great at certain sports and awful at others, but that I due to the small school and not having a football team I believe. Being apart of the XC team I get to see inside of the athletic department and it is absolutely amazing

Off-Campus Dining: Just like at home, but spend too much money eating out because I like to eat healthy and I can't get what I want from the caf at school

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: I love the atmosphere of OC. I had a hard time adjusting when I first arrived, but who doesn't? I wouldn't choose any other college to go to #OCishome

Guys & Girls: I haven't paid much attention to them as a whole

4 College Junior

Academics: I love being apart of the nursing program because I love the nursing faculty, they are always there to make sure you are doing okay and they want you to succeed. They are also very friendly

5 College Junior

Academics: I wouldn't want to be apart of any other major at my school. Nursing is my passion and the department is amazing

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: I do not know anything personally about off-campus housing because it is not an option for me

2 College Junior

Campus Dining: I feel for the price that we pay, and that we are required to get a meal plan, the variety and the quality of the food should be much better

5 College Junior

Health & Safety: From what I know, none of this goes on in our campus, I feel very safe on campus

4 College Junior

Campus Strictness: I appreciate the strictness on this campus because it creates a safe atmosphere

3 College Junior

Greek Life: Being not involved in greek life, it feel it is nothing that people are going to judge you for if you are not in greek. all though a lot of people try to get you to join, you are never judged

4 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: I feel very safe in this atmosphere coming from a large city

4 College Junior

Majors: An only negative aspect to the nursing program is all the requirements made of us over the SUMMER. Other than that it is a very fair application process.

5 College Junior

Majors: I love my school and the nursing department is awesome!

3 College Sophomore

Diversity: It is about as diverse as you can get for a private christian school...
