Parking: I have to leave my house 30 minutes early just to get to campus. Then I have to find parking in the West Lot. Then I have to take a bus to main campus, then get to class.

Facilities: The Thompson library and the RPAC are known around the country for being the best. The library is modern with a twist from the older bulging in the back. Thompson library has several floors with glass walls and many places to sit or do work on the computer. The RPAC is just a huge with several floors and a variety of machines for students to use. Their is also an endless amount of courts, pools, and gear. Also there is a healthy cafe inside, this all comes free for being a full time student at OSU

Facilities: The atmosphere is amazing! Everyone is proud to be a buckeye and it is apparent by students wearing OSU merchandise or the scarlet and gray which is apparent everywhere. OSU is an old school but the old and new buildings establish greatness in the past and present by the meshing of the two styles together. OSU is very modern but still stays true to its past by maintaining and updating old buildings. There are trees everywhere and grass which is emphasized by the oval and mirror lake. They want to let students know that not only is OSU a great place for education, it is a cool place. OSU shows parents and future students that this university can't compare to any that they see, creating pride in everyone.

Campus Dining: There is a great variety here at OSU. Some dorm towers have their own dining hall but OSU recently made the union and created an amazing dining hall. The menu is very diverse and even has chefs make your order custom for various types of food. It feels high class but the price is good for the average college student. It is a great feature to our campus and is why OSU is one of the best schools because it caters to students without the cost.

Academics: At Ohio State you have the best opportunities. Great professors. The curriculium is difficult. The registration process is easy and quick. My workload is crazy, but that is up to the individual. A on study options. It really is a cool campus

Academics: It is very difficult. I am a chemestry major so maybe that is part of it, but I was an A student in ap classes and this is crazy!

Campus Strictness: Policies are laws, you have to go bythem. Of course you can have fun but watch yourself. There are to many stories of kids in college going against policies and hurting themselves

Transportation: Buses Are Great – Personally, I like to walk around campus for the most part. However, the bus systems are excellent. They run fairly often, go just about everywhere on campus, and both the university and city buses are free for students. You just have to swipe your ID sometimes.

Greek Life: Greek life on campus is very important but not everyone is involved in it. Personally, I'm involved in Agricultural Greek Life and it is nothing like I thought it would be.

Off-Campus Dining: Lots of Choices – There are tons of dining options off campus. High Street is lined with both high and low end restaurants. Many of them offer student discounts and give out coupons.

Campus Strictness: The rules are strict but only to ensure our safety because of the size of the school and the area that it is in.

Drug Safety: You can find drugs if you want them, but it's mostly low-key stuff like marijuana on campus. Since it's college, of course there's plenty of alcohol.

Majors: I have only started taking my major classes this semester, so I don't really have a good idea of what the program is like yet.

There is a reason the Buckeye Nation is considered to be so devoted; an overwhelming love for OSU is evident in student responses, and in the loyalty of alumni to their alma mater. Each person has his or her own reasons for loving the University, and there are quite a few of them. Some students feel that the academics are top-notch and have found exactly the programs they wanted; others lean toward the athletic success of the Buckeye teams, while some just feel that the friendships and bonds they have made are enough to make their tenure at OSU worthwhile. At any rate, everyone can agree that being a Buckeye creates a special bond between you and nearly 50,000 other students, which you will carry with you for the rest of your life.

Once you get past the sheer size of the University, it will really become a second home. After only a quarter of classes, you won't be able to cross the Oval without seeing someone you know. Ohio State is truly the smallest large university you will find. The people are known for their friendly attitudes, and alumni are scattered across the nation. If you choose to go to OSU, you're choosing a school with a name that's well known, both in the workplace and in the college community. Few students ever regret their time at Ohio State, and most consider their college experience to be among the best offered in the Big Ten and the country.
