Transportation: The CABS busses are free to anyone on campus and very easy to navigate and with student identification the public transportation is also free.

Off-Campus Dining: The off campus food is fantastic. There are so many options; however, I do not really know much about the vegan/vegetarian options.

Off-Campus Housing: I know there is a lot of off-campus housing but I have no experience with it as of yet.

Computers: There are a lot of areas where computer labs can be found, print is $0.09 a print which is a little inconvenient but not too bad. The wifi availability is very spotty and goes out very frequently.

Campus Housing: I really like living on campus. My dorm is a little bit old, but everything is being renovated. The food is great and so are the people.

Athletics: I didn't know what I was getting myself into in regards to the Buckeye spirit around campus. Everywhere you go there is someone sporting spirit wear, and Buckeye pride is contagious and highly enthusiastic. Our football team has gone 24-1 since our new coach arrived (a big deal), and fans are outrageously supportive.

Majors: I've not experienced an internship, but I have held a couple work-study jobs - the university is great about that.

Majors: Once I figured out what I wanted to do, advisors made it easy to switch into my majors and find the right classes for the requirements.

Facilities: The RPAC has everything activity-related you could want, and there are always university-sponsored events happening everywhere, all the time, and in every field of interest.

Facilities: Everyone is friendly, there is always something to do/attend, there are great green spaces, the Union is a great place to meet up/study, and the libraries are great places to study/research. The campus traditions and school spirit are unmatched in my experience.

Health & Safety: There is an escort service, and there is always an emergency pole within sight.

Parking: If you're considering getting a parking pass, good luck. I had a c pass it was pricy and I could rarely find a spot.

Guys & Girls: There are not that many pretty people in general.

Nightlife: Game day is the best.

Overall Experience: If I would have been more outgoing and willing to try new things I would have enjoyed my college experience much more. Attending such a large school makes it easy to fall through the cracks and get lost in the crowd.

Facilities: The RPAC and the ARC are just two of my favorites. There are so many great student centers on campus!

Facilities: There are so many different opportunities on campus, no matter what you are interested in if you are willing to put yourself out there then you can find a social group to fit your needs!

Majors: So many majors to choose from, if you're willing to work hard, most of the staff is willing to work hard to help you.

Majors: There are a lot of people to relate to, its almost scary because there are so many people who want to do exactly what you want to....so who gets the job when all is said and done. Very competitive.

Diversity: I think it is diverse, but the more diverse students are in their own groups

Overall Experience: I love THE Ohio State University. It's such a phenomenal education and social environment. There are numerous opportunities for students in almost any field or type of interest. The sports atmosphere, especially during football season, is just insane and the school pride is something to be bragged about. Students are friendly and interested in studying hard but then partying hard on the weekends. There are so many activities offered that no one should be bored while on the OSU campus. I just LOVE this school.

Campus Housing: Depending on where you are placed for housing your experience can be great or mediocre. I live in one of the most recently refurbished buildings on campus: Park-Stradley. But for others living in dorms that have not been updated in several decades there can be issues- such as lack of air-conditioning. But depending on who is living around you your actual dorm room can cease to be an issue.

Campus Strictness: they are pretty lenient with students at OSU. you are allowed to keep your independence and really get the experience of making decisions on your own and living as an adult.

Majors: There are many majors to choose from (over 175) and there is a program where you can create your own major if need be.

Campus Strictness: As long as no one is put in danger or harm, the university is pretty lenient.

There is a reason the Buckeye Nation is considered to be so devoted; an overwhelming love for OSU is evident in student responses, and in the loyalty of alumni to their alma mater. Each person has his or her own reasons for loving the University, and there are quite a few of them. Some students feel that the academics are top-notch and have found exactly the programs they wanted; others lean toward the athletic success of the Buckeye teams, while some just feel that the friendships and bonds they have made are enough to make their tenure at OSU worthwhile. At any rate, everyone can agree that being a Buckeye creates a special bond between you and nearly 50,000 other students, which you will carry with you for the rest of your life.

Once you get past the sheer size of the University, it will really become a second home. After only a quarter of classes, you won't be able to cross the Oval without seeing someone you know. Ohio State is truly the smallest large university you will find. The people are known for their friendly attitudes, and alumni are scattered across the nation. If you choose to go to OSU, you're choosing a school with a name that's well known, both in the workplace and in the college community. Few students ever regret their time at Ohio State, and most consider their college experience to be among the best offered in the Big Ten and the country.
