3 College Freshman

Computers: Wireless access is a problem for my printer

3 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: The food is good here. It is definitely better then Eastern Michigan's food selection. The only concern I have is they need to have a place here that is open til at least 12 midnight.

College Sophomore

Majors: Once again I don't have any ideas.

College Sophomore

Majors: I haven't had an internship yet. Once that happens then I'll be able to give an answer.

5 College Sophomore

Athletics: Ohio State has one of the best athletic programs out there. Everyone knows about the football team and almost everybody attends the games.

College Sophomore

Diversity: The way the government is running is really pathetic. We have a joke of a president who is bringing the worst change possible.

College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: I don't plan on living off campus so I won't be able to give a good answer.

5 College Sophomore

Facilities: Everything here is great. They have so many different benefits to help students succeed here.

Guys & Girls: So many attractive women here. I look all around and am impressed with the quality of the girls here.

Overall Experience: The only difference I would change would be the fact that I changed my major. I don't want the loans to be piled up so I want to finish as soon as possible. Since I changed majors I lost some of the classes I took.

5 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: I have no issues with any of the help. We have a good amount of security here as well as medical benefits. I know I live right by the hospital so any problems, it is right there.

Weather: Nice and warmer here then in Cleveland. Best part is since I hate the snow is I don't have to worry about lake effect snow here.

Parking: It is very disappointing in the parking here. I have to take a bus all the way to west campus to get my car so I can work. This is my third year in college and I need to work.

College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: I don't know to much about the other schools. I just stay here.

4 College Sophomore

Nightlife: The bar scene is crazy. There are so many different people there. Transportation is easy cause I just have to walk everywhere.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: I am near everything where I only need a 10 minute walk. The only downside to this is no Air Conditioning.

Off-Campus Dining: A good amount of variety but not a lot of discounts and can be expensive.

College Freshman

Greek Life: I am not really sure about greek life. I am not a part of it.

Overall Experience: I feel really at home here. The community is excellent and there are many opportunities because I go here.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I just started to looking for housing for next year. There are many options but I don't feel well informed.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: There are some really good options, but some things can get pretty expensive.

Scholarships: After filing a special circumstances form, I received the grants I needed.

Weather: No one comes here for the weather unless they like the cold. It's fine during early fall and spring months but miserable to walk through the cold on such a big campus during the winter.

4 College Freshman

Diversity: You meet a diverse range of people. However, foreign students usually interact only with each other and there is some xenophobia.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Ohio State is an awesome school with great people and numerous opportunities.

There is a reason the Buckeye Nation is considered to be so devoted; an overwhelming love for OSU is evident in student responses, and in the loyalty of alumni to their alma mater. Each person has his or her own reasons for loving the University, and there are quite a few of them. Some students feel that the academics are top-notch and have found exactly the programs they wanted; others lean toward the athletic success of the Buckeye teams, while some just feel that the friendships and bonds they have made are enough to make their tenure at OSU worthwhile. At any rate, everyone can agree that being a Buckeye creates a special bond between you and nearly 50,000 other students, which you will carry with you for the rest of your life.

Once you get past the sheer size of the University, it will really become a second home. After only a quarter of classes, you won't be able to cross the Oval without seeing someone you know. Ohio State is truly the smallest large university you will find. The people are known for their friendly attitudes, and alumni are scattered across the nation. If you choose to go to OSU, you're choosing a school with a name that's well known, both in the workplace and in the college community. Few students ever regret their time at Ohio State, and most consider their college experience to be among the best offered in the Big Ten and the country.
