College Freshman

Online Courses: I haven't taken any online courses at the school yet.

Academic Experience: They don't put a lot of emphasis on pre-vet majors because "everyone was pre-vet once", but they have a lot of animal related courses for the pre-vet students to take part in.

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience: The amount of classes offered is limited due t the small size of the campus, but they try to get everyone into the classes they need.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The great thing about this school is that it is super cheap if your an in state student. My financial aid covered all but $800 of the tuition, and at that they offer payment programs.

Facilities: The school doesn't particularly have anything special going on artistically, but there are a lot of green spaces to go walk around and get away from the stress of the classroom.

Student Body: All of the people I have talked to seem to be very nice and friendly. The majority of students are very country/redneck, so they are all pretty hardworking. They also tend to be party people.

Academic Flexibility: They have not accepted all of my credits that I have had before I started attending here. They have been good about helping me choose classes to take and what would work the best for me.

4 College Freshman

Campus Resources: All of the resources are pretty easy to get to. Everything is easy to find and open reasonable hours.

Campus Resources: The wireless connection is great, all you have to do use your student ID. I would say if you live on campus you wouldn't need a personal computer because there are so many that they are never all being used at the same time.

Career Services: I don't really know how they are here because I am just a freshman. I know that most students go to main campus after two years at the ATI and are assisted in finding employment by the counselors there.

Overall Experience: I think that this school is great for someone highly interested in the agricultural fields. I am not one of those people, so I am not enjoying my time here as much as I could be. I feel safe in my environment, which is good. I just don't view this school as the best option I could have chosen for myself, but it is cheap.

Campus Resources: Network is reliable 95% of the time. Sometimes you will have connection problems but that's about it. Printing papers can get expensive and usually if you can't get a paper printed the day its due the professors are cool about it. You can and you should bring a printer and laptop. Tablets aren't bad to have either.

Campus Resources: So much to do. On campus there is a gym, racquetball courts, weight room, putting green for golfers, a library, community room or commons and quite a bit more. With in 10 min of driving you can be at an ice rink, bowling alleys, swimming pool, and a really nice golf course. This campus is cozy and somebody is ALWAYS doing something.

College Junior

Campus Resources: My First Year – This will be my first year there so i will see but from the great stories i herd it seems like i will enjoy it

5 College Freshman

Academic Experience: Teachers Are Your Friends – All the professors are completely qualified to teach what they do. They have been in the field before and grown up on farms and had hands on experience with what they are trying to teach. The workload is pretty easy. There are a lot of horse science programs, agronomy, construction, turf grass, ag ed, ag bussiness, dairy, beef and sheep, swine, greenhouse, horticulture

Overall Experience: Small Is Better – My favorite thing about this school is that it is pretty small and we are all just one big family. I know there are a lot of people I don't know, but for the most part everyone is connected and everyone knows everyone. We have big cookouts and bonfires and hang out. On the academic side, being small is also good because you get so much attention from teachers and it is very hands on.

Student Body: One Big Family – ATI is mostly farm kids. There are some that are goth or preppy, as there are exceptions to everything, but most people would classify themselves as "country." Everyone is really nice and helpful. They come from big farm families that say yes sir and thanks ma'am. They know what they are here for and have a lot of connections to help you out. We have a lot of fun. The school is pretty small, so we are just one big family

Academic Flexibility: Very Flexable – Teachers do not care what you do. If you come in late to class, they won't say anything to you or bug you. If you leave early, they aren't going to say anything either. They know that you are paying to be here and it's your choice whether you want to make that choice and waste your money or not.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Very Good for Financially Poor Students – This college is cheap compared to other colleges of it's nature. The education is well worth it. You get hands on experience that you can't get anywhere else. The financial aid office is very helpful and there are a lot of scholarships and things they can do to help.

Campus Resources: There are a ton of computer labs and usually people in all of the labs to help you out if you need it. Printing is very easy. You just send the document to the printer and swipe your BuckID card. The internet works very well and is usually very fast. I woud advise your own laptop, but it is definitely not needed.
