5 College Freshman

Academics: The professors are fabulous, and there is a vast array of options for classes.

5 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: I love the small town atmosphere. However there aren't many grocery options within twenty minutes

5 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: All off campus dining options are near enough to walk if motivated, have a great variety and easy access

College Freshman

Campus Dining: I live off campus and have not had any experience with onu dining options

5 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: Everyone in attendance seems to be exceedingly friendly and open to making new friends. It's easy to meet people within your classes

5 College Freshman

Diversity: There is a vast variety of students on campus. However since I have only been there for. Year I have not come into contact with everyone

3 College Freshman

Weather: All sidewalks are open of course, so rain tends to put a damper on things. During winter months campus does an excellent job of clearing sidewalks

College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I have heard great things about off campus housing, however I own a home in Lima and have not experienced onu's housing options

3 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: A lot of underage drinking occurs, and if caught is dealt with appropriately but police do not get involved unless necessary and residence life usually does not notice. Drugs are not really present otherwise at all, which is a definite positive!

4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Residence Life is a hassle to deal with, but the housing itself is really nice comparably.

2 College Sophomore

Nightlife: Unless you drink, there is nothing to do. One bar and another half bar kind of place that has karaoke every week.

2 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Other than McDonald's and Taco Bell, your choices are pizza, pizza, pizza, and two Mexican restaurants.

3 College Sophomore

Facilities: They are varied depending. The dining hall and athletic facilities are out of date, but other areas are new and nicer than most.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: They could offer a lot more money, but they do give out scholarships regardless based on academic GPA in high school and SAT scores. In my opinion though, they are very unfair and give more to students for athletics than they should for a D3 organization.

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: The varsity teams are supposedly better than most in the conference, but the facilities are not great at all, and for non athletes not desirable to go to. The athletes make sure that everyone on campus who isn't an athlete know they are.

3 College Sophomore

Computers: The computer availability on campus is great and there are a few Mac's available too, depending on the department. The wifi is not great and reliable, but that is supposed to be getting fixed soon.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: They only hound on people if they are doing serious things that greatly affect other people, and I would't say they affect whether or not people don't enjoy going here.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: It is cheaper than living on campus, but unfortunately a lot of the houses are beat up due to age and several parties.

3 College Sophomore

Majors: The majors that are offered here are varied, but there are only a few that I would recommend people to come here for.

4 College Sophomore

Majors: The professors of the chemistry department are some of the best in their field, and they are always accessible. While they grade tough, and exams are difficult it is worth it.

3 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: It is a great campus academically, but unfortunately the social life around campus is lacking. The small town atmosphere is great sometimes, but there is often not a lot to do outside of any campus organizations one may be involved in.

3 College Freshman

Nightlife: Mainly going to the movies and watching tv.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Small town so there is very little to choose from. Mainly fast food and few options.

4 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: I really like the small town feel but it does get to a point where there isn't anything to do in Ada and the closest city is 20 minutes drive.

3 College Sophomore

Diversity: All in all the campus is mostly Caucasian but there are a few foreign exchange and other types of students. I've had lots of interesting conversations with students that have a different belief set than I do which has been a great experience.
