Online Courses: i only had one online class and i thought that it wasn't very good. i had very little help from my teacher and no interaction with my other classmates who were taking the same online class.

Campus Resources: We only have two computer labs where you can print your stuff from. this is a problem because most students don't have access to a home computer and printer so they come to the school to do their work and print there assignments. most of the time it is hard to use them because they have a class in them and are not able to do their work. The college needs to have more printers in the other rooms.

Academic Experience: Well we have to wait until the next semester to get into a course that is not provided that semester. So in other words I like my school and how my professors teach us.

Campus Resources: We really don't have a workout area or a place to rest until the next class wish we did. Then maybe other students can get more involved with other students.

Academic Experience: Our professors are very strong on getting our work done and on time. Wish we had a student center to sit down with a professor to share our career goals with them. Its cool when we have a week to get things done.

Campus Resources: They can put computers in all rooms instead of two room so it wouldn't be so crowded. Plus I am in a wheelchair and some rooms I cannot get into the rooms or even close to a computer to work on.

Student Body: a percentage of the students are working full time, or taking courses at the college to enrich themselves. some use OLC as a stepping stone to a larger university.

Academic Experience: I am an IT major, but so far it has been great because I just started but i know it will get tougher. But that's what I'm counting on. I need a challenge. I can't wait for my coming semesters.

Tuition & Financial Aid: All the college is telling me to do is apply for FASFA. I learned on my own that there is deadlines for Scholarships that are offered. I learned on my own of the In house scholarships, not to mention the American Indian College Fund. I had no idea on what to include on a general essay for scholarships. The help was not what I expected it to be.

Student Body: My school is a good mix of both young students who are just starting out and older students wanting to further their education. It's a great mix of people and its makes the environment comfortable. Students are all focused on getting a good education but also are always involved in school events and activities.

Campus Resources: Computer technology is always available for research papers but we also need a libray to do other research since many teachers do ask for more than one resource the information came from.

Academic Flexibility: My Review on the Academic Flexibility – I think the academic flexibility at oglala lakota college is great!! It helps me futher my education while i still have opportunity to live a at home life style and work a job. My classes are reasonable hours and i can choose my classes. The curriculum and schedualing is usually no hassle. I have never had any hassle or frustrations with the Oglala Lakota College.
