Academic Experience: It's awesome.. I have always wanted to be a diver since I was 9. The studies are pretty complex. A lot of science and math.. This school upon your first week of attendance you are asked where you would like to work.. As in what specific country? Do you want to stay in the states?; then come graduation time The Ocean Corporation lines you up with potential Employers.

Student Body: Some can't handle the pressure that your put under, or they realize that the courses they offer just weren't right for them.

Tuition & Financial Aid: A lot cheaper then other schools I looked at that offered the same courses.

Academic Experience: There are very few whom might be able to handle the extreme pressure your put under. But I do extremely well under pressure and can still preform the tasks at hand. The purpose of them doing this is to prepare you mentally, so that when it comes time to work for a big company you know what to do with out hesitating.

Academic Flexibility: Schedule is flexible insofar as classes start every five weeks. Once engaged, however, classes run on a very strict, quick pace.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I was scheduled to begin classes in January, but was unable to secure enough financial aid. Every question I asked was met with an answer of "I don't know" or I cannot say. Opportunities for aid were passed over and I felt as if I was not important. I have since changed financial aid couselors and am receiving much better service overall. I will start the program in April.

Student Body: Graduates of the program are knowledgeable and highly respected.

Academic Experience: The professors are awesome at the Ocean Corporation. The classes are smaller and they have more time with each student. They are very informative and most have been professional divers themselves so they know exactually what we should and should not be doing.

Tuition & Financial Aid: High Tuition Education – Higher education is to high in the United States. In todays economy you have to have a college degree to be able to support a family, however the tuition for education is so expensive that most people cant afford to gat a higher education.

The Ocean Corporations tuition fees are average with the other schools that teach underwater welding. The financial aid office was great with FASFA, but they dont have any scholarship programs available to the students.

Campus Resources: Underwater Welding – The Ocean corporation is a very unique school. The most unique thing is that there are only a few schools in the United States that teaches underwater welding. The school is about 90% hands on. We get to do what we will be doing on a daily basis, therefore we already have alot of experience going in. I also love the fact that I go to school for 8 months and then have unlimited different job skills for several different careers.
Once I graduate I will have the knowledge to do anything I want underwater. I will use my skills daily to become a financially stable adult.

Overall Experience: The Ocean Corp Is Making My Dreams Come True – The Ocean Corp is a great school overall. It is alot of hands on training. The classes are small enough that the teachers can actually teach each student.
We went to Galveston and dove down 50 feet to a sunken ship to do our training for three days. It was very exciting and scary at the same time. Next week we will be in Galveston for the whole week working on the ship for our exam. It is going to be great.
The Ocean Corporation is one of six schools that teach ultimate diving and underwater welding. There is a high demand for the job but only a few schools to teach it.
I love my school, but if I could do it over again I would go to the school in Florida. They have beautiful beaches. I live in Texas and with the tuition fees and housing I coulnt afford to go to Florida. Im certain both schools have great learning experiences.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I spoke with the school 2 months prior to moving 1800 miles to attend school and was told the cost of tuition. When I got here I found out the tuition had been raised another 3,000 dollars. They should have told me well in advance that the cost would be increasing.

Campus Resources: No B.S. I like the fact that the instructors are straight forward and only give you information that will be required on the job. You won't have to learn stuff you won't need in real life.

2 College Senior

Overall Experience: I'm still in school here but thus far it seems adequate for the job field.
