Facilities: Student center is rarely helpful, campus events never happen, students are in their own group of friends, and the athletic centers are poor.

The facilities at Oakwood University vary in quality and space. Students can find dorms that look well-maintained and others that do not. The gymnasium is a descent size, and it is well-maintained. A lot of the student activity rooms are kept nice. The game rooms are kept in top-notch appearance, and the staff works hard to make sure that the room is nice. The bathroom facilities are kept nice for the most part, but sometimes students will find a dirty bathroom facility due to bad sanitation.

There are two new state-of-the-art facilities, the new male freshman dorm and the new dining hall. Both of these facilities are new and make the campus look great. Oakwood renovates its facilities quite often, whether it is putting up a chandelier in the dining hall or installing new TVs in the dorm. The library is a prime example of a facility that is always being changed. Just recently the library bought brand new computers along with fans to better assist students in their studies. There are many facilities that students can use to be entertained that make Oakwood University an enjoyable experience.
