Academic Experience: My major is not offered at Oakton. However, all my pre requisite classes are. This has helped me be eligible to transfer to my intended college with all the credits I needed.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: There are many degrees and programs offered at Oakton. There are also many transfer programs, it just depends what you are looking for.

Facilities: Oakton is a great community college. They are building a new nursing wing to accommodate the growing demand for this field of study. There are many areas you can study across the campus, either alone or in groups. Many students meet up in the dining area. There is enough room for everyone to eat or study together. One thing that I think could use improvement is the quality of food. However, I think most campuses struggle with this. I would like to see more healthy options and not just greasy foods and snacks. Overall, I would recommend Oakton to anyone who wants an alternative option for school. You can complete you first 2 years here and transfer to finish your degree without getting hit financially as hard as others.

4 College Junior
