Parking: there are lots of places to park and its free

3 College Sophomore

Parking: The only problem with parking is the parking lot next to the dorms should most definitely be for the students that live on campus but its totally backwards and its a commuter parking lot.

Parking: When you have a morning class or arrive before 10 am you should be able to find a parking spot pretty easily.

Searching for a parking spot on campus is like an endless maze of disappointment. There are hardly any spots near any of the buildings, so finding one close to class usually happens only if you're lucky. Most of the spots are located near the sporting fields, which leaves you with a far walk to your destination. Commuters, especially, have small lots to park in.

If you're a commuter, the best times to find a parking spot are early in the morning (before 8 a.m.), around lunchtime (between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.), and after the evening classes (after 9 p.m). Luckily, you don't have to pay for a parking permit, but you'll be paying in parking tickets if you don't park in your designated area. Campus Security gives out tickets left and right, so students just have to endure the hectic parking situation. Move-in day is usually the only time when Campus Security is lenient with their ticketing.
