1 College Freshman

Greek Life: There is no Greek life at the school.

Scholarships: They were willing to help me at the last minute in order to keep me at the university, so I'm pretty happy with it.

Academics: The academics are alright. They are certainly better than nothing. I'm just a freshman, so I don't know much, but I'm sure there are classes that could use some improvement.

Drug Safety: It's certainly not as bad as other universities, but that's mainly because of it's small size and strict rules. So far, I've not been peer pressured into anything I didn't want to do, so I'm pretty comfortable here.

Local Atmosphere: Belmont is a small place with very little things to do. It is more of a calm getaway.

Campus Strictness: I feel like there should be more freedom in terms of drinking on campus regardless of age. It's safer for kids to drink on campus than to sneak into clubs off campus, you know?

4 College Freshman

Diversity: There are a lot of minorities hanging about, so I really doubt there are any major issues with racial discrimination. Or any discrimination really.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: I haven't been to very many places off-campus because I realized I'm already paying so much for on-campus meals, but there are a few places where I like to get a little something special, like a dessert or something.

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: I have a lot of fun with my friends, but everybody is really strict about what you can and can't do because it's such a small campus. Last semester, I was almost documented for being too loud with my friends. Granted, it was during midterms, but it's not my fault I was having a good time, and she wasn't.

4 College Freshman

Weather: The weather is much warmer than where I'm from, but not too hot to where I'm struggling to breath, so I certainly prefer it over my hometown.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I don't really know. I've heard it's really expensive, and that you get a better deal living on campus.

Overall Experience: I've made a lot of good friends here, and the staff and financial aid department really helped me out when I wasn't able to afford tuition for this semester. Had I gone to a larger school, no one would have cared to lose one student out of thousands, but because of the small community here, I was able to be saved.

3 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: There are a few good looking folks on campus, but no one to really swoon over.

3 College Freshman

Nightlife: There aren't really that many parties on campus, but I have a well enough time with my good friends.

3 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: The location of the school is up in a hill. The surrounding is my elderly individuals. Meaning their isn't a lot to do out in Belmont, California. Besides the nice parks and trails that the city provides. I feel that inorder to have fun as college students we need to get out the city and really need some type of transportation

2 College Sophomore

Transportation: cost is okay. miles can run up too high. I feel that the need for a shuttle/ buss that can provide students with transitions to outside places or even a lift up the hill when buying grocery.

3 Recent Alumnus

Parking: During the day parking is hard to find but I never have a problem in my evening classes

3 Recent Alumnus

Campus Strictness: Campus safety is important but it does not feel overbearing

4 Recent Alumnus

Majors: The process was clear and the school was very good about letting me know what I still needed. The graduate program required an interview which was not nearly as bad as I thought it would be.

5 Recent Alumnus

Majors: I love my program the teachers have a passion for the subject and want to help the students succeed

3 Recent Alumnus

Off-Campus Housing: It's really expensive but with limited housing for grad student it's the only option for me

5 Recent Alumnus

Local Atmosphere: I love the blend of being in a town but also having lots of nature around I have seen deer on campus several times

4 Recent Alumnus

Weather: The weather has been great, but I think this winter is unusually dry and warm

4 Recent Alumnus

Computers: The network is reliable and the computer labs are convenient to use

4 Recent Alumnus

Diversity: Everyone seems very accepting and so far I have not noticed any problems
