College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Hassles and frustrations with classes... oh wow, I don't have a car, and the tech. building where the engineering classes are, is five miles away. Between the campus and the Tech. building, there are no discernible side walks! I'g going into an Engineering degree program, but I only have one class that will go towards my degree! what the crap! Public transport isn't a reliable source of transportation!

Overall Experience: I don't really have any experiences with this school, as an incoming freshman, I'm mostly just tweaked out and scared. Ask me in october, or november and I probably will have a better review, but right now, I''m scared.

Student Body: The people here, both past and present have a great sense of humor, and are amazing over all. Everyone I've spoken to has been just wonderful and awesome. I've asked so many people for directions and help and they're all so friendly and helpful. I'm terrified of leaving my tiny home town and going to a bigger school in a city that I've been in maybe five times in my entire life. But knowing that the people on campus are friendly and are wiling to accept me as me, is really helpful. I hope that I can be as accepting of them, as they are of me.

Campus Resources: I haven't gotten to see everything on campus, but I have friends who have, and from what I've seen NMC's campus is AMAZING!!! from the lawn golf course, to the library, to east hall (dorms). its beautiful. I couldn't have hoped for a better campus close to home like NMC is.

College Junior

Online Courses: I'm not taking any online courses, I tried that as a high schooler, and failed miserably. For me to rate an online course would be lying.

College Junior

Career Services: I haven't used the post graduate services like the career center, or the alumni network. I'm not on campus as of yet, so it makes no sense to worry about the alumni network right now, and I'm in the process of applying to become a United States Marine. I think my job prospects are good.

College Junior

Overall Experience: I'm an incoming freshman so I can't truly rate this school. I can say however, that the people in the offices ( financial aid, admissions, and the like) have been WONDERFUL!!! I'm the first or five kids, and the youngest to attend college, so my mom has no clue how to help. NMC staff have been amazing through out the entire enrollment, from sending my application, to receiving my acceptance into the dorms, and scheduling my orientation. They've helped me with EVERYTHING I have asked for help on, and even when I called the wrong office, they either transferred me to the right number, or gave it to me.

College Junior

Overall Experience: NMC has a lot of different degrees to earn, though I don't know about internships or job prospects yet. I don't know if employers recruit on campus or not, and even if they did, I'm only going to school at the moment to satisfy military education requirements.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: Credits transferred ok to MSU. classes sometimes overlap causing trouble scheduling.

3 College Sophomore

Student Body: The student body is pretty diverse. The people are so nice and accepting of other people.

4 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: Value of education is definitely worth the price paid. Financial aid office is very helpful, ask as many questions as possible.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Internet access is slow, but available. Printing is available from computers in computer labs. Computer labs have pc's with windows 7, and a couple of macs for those doing design,

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: The professors are awesome! There are many resources available. The downside is that many of the science courses have overlapping times, which makes scheduling classes a pain. Classes are challenging and honors credit is available. Computer labs are equipped with windows 7 pc's. There are a couple of macs in the student success center. The downside to the computers are that they start slowly. Labs are accessible and full of potential to learn.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: Workload is as big or small as you make it. There are plenty of resources for those handicapped. There are a variety of academic programs available.

4 College Sophomore

Facilities: The layout is nice and comfortable. The buildings are close together and professors are always nearby.

3 College Freshman

Facilities: I wish the buildings were more connected. Everything is very spread out and walking in the snow is not very enjoyable.

3 College Freshman

Career Services: The career center is very helpful and helped me get on the right track.

2 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: its a pain and its a lot of money for tuition

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: The people there are always ready to help and they support you.

4 College Sophomore

Facilities: They offer culinary and are not private so they accept credits from community colleges

4 College Student

Overall Experience: I've been pretty happy with my first year here. no major complaints.

3 College Student

Facilities: I like that we have separate places to go and eat, besides the on campus dinning.

3 College Student

Online Courses: Only taken a couple, but they seem to be pretty good, i will certainly continue them in the future.

3 College Student

Tuition & Financial Aid: It's community college, so not very expensive at all.

3 College Student

Campus Resources: There is a small student center, and lots of places to sit, but not alot of places to relax or that i'd want to wait for very long between classes.
