4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: Its in a very nice part of town.

3 College Freshman

Weather: Most buildings are close together, but the wind and rain is sometimes a problem.

4 College Freshman

Drug Safety: I have never seen alcohol.

4 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: The admin is on top of things.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: I do not live there, but from what I have seen and heard it is nice.

3 College Freshman

Diversity: Not extreme diversity, but a little bit. It is a private school which seems to narrow down those that attend.

3 College Freshman

Nightlife: My definition of nightlife and most everyone else's definition are drastically different. My type of parties do not include alcohol/drugs. My friends and I always find something to do though!

5 College Freshman

Drug Safety: Drugs and alcohol are not allowed on my school's campus at all. Even after students turn 21 they are not allowed to consume alcohol. Everyone, in the application, signs a honor agreement which outlines the school's rules regarding drugs, alcohol, sex, etc. I appreciate immensely.

3 College Freshman

Majors: I am not in the Nursing program yet; however going through the pre-requisites has not been the most pleasurable experience.

3 College Freshman

Majors: Like I said before, I am not in the Nursing program yet so I can not say how well I personally like it; however, I have several friends who are in it and they greatly enjoy it. It is difficult, but it is also a wonderful school that pushes the students to work harder. Also, one of the features I am looking forward is the mandatory senior month-long trip to a foreign country. The program requires this to give the students a broader understanding of the world.

4 College Freshman

Diversity: There are many different ethnic groups represented at my school. I go to a Christian school, so to some it would not be very "tolerant" but for me I think it is good. The idea of "tolerance", in my opinion, is a disguised way of being intolerant.

4 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: While the girl to guy ratio is not the best (4:1), the people are caring and encouraging in general.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: I have met many times with financial aid in an attempt to both straighten out scholarships and try to apply for more. It is a difficult and annoying process.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: Many people come to the school games, dressed all out in school colors and gear. We have relatively small athletic facilities, but we make the best we can with what we have.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: Kirkland is an expensive city to live in, no matter where you are at. Housing is no exception, making rent horrendous.

4 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: One of the reasons I chose to go to this school is for its high moral code. They enforce the rules concerning drugs and alcohol, which makes it a wonderful environment to be.

Computers: We have a good computer labs, but most students prefer to bring their own laptop. The internet is a nightmare many nights, especially from 7 p.m. on.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Kirkland, the city where my college is located, has many wonderful and diverse places to eat; however, it is a bit expensive.

Weather: Seattle is known for being rainy, and I was prepared for a lot of rain, but that still does not change the fact that sometimes the rainy weather can be awful. On the flip side though, when the sun does come out it is absolutely wonderful.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: I would not change it for the world! I am going to go to another school for my MA, as they do not offer the specific field I am looking for, but I would stay if they offered me what I wanted.

Parking: There is not really anywhere to park off campus. Be prepared to pay for campus parking or walk a ways to get to school.

5 College Junior

Campus Strictness: It is strict, and you will be expelled or could fines. Follow the rules, it is simple.

Transportation: Again everything is expensive; however, the bus runs nearby and it is around 70$ a month. There is a lot of things close by, if you really needed anything you could walk.

5 College Junior

Drug Safety: You have to sign a NO DRUG AND ALCOHOL statement! Don't even get caught smoking on campus.

Academics: Amazing! Hard work of course, but the material is relevant to what you need to move up in the career field of any choice you choose. I would like to see more course (academic choices to look at in the MA and BA field)
