4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Northwest is a pretty great school and I would recommend it to anyone that even had a second thought about it.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: The nursing program at Northwest is very talked about and all of the area hospitals really love our students. We get a lot of great experience from clinical also. Our teachers are all very knowledgeable and they love to share their knowledge. These ladies really want you to be the best that you can be and I love this program!

Academic Experience: It really is not the best, there are a few classes to take and the majors are more associated with something that you can earn in 2 years, but we do have tutors on campus that are very willing to help anyone whenever they need it. Class registration is very easy to do and if you have any problems your adviser will gladly help you.

Online Courses: Sakai is a really good program to use for the online courses. Everything is set up so it is very self explanatory.

College Junior

Career Services: I have not used these services as I have yet to graduate and I am not to the point where I am talking to any of these people.

3 College Junior

Facilities: We are a very small school so a lot of people become very close to the people that are in their classes and generally you know a good handful of people that go to the school because everyone is from the same area.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: We do have a workout room, but I have not used it as I am very busy. Our library is small, but they are able to get you anything that you may need. I don't participate in any activities, but I do know that we sometimes have a DJ in the atrium.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: I have never personally had a problem with the networking at school. Printing is very easy and you print off anything that you need. The internet seems to be fast and everything works well!

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: It is a cheaper school and that is really nice, but some of the teachers do not do the best job of actually teaching. I believe that if I am paying for the class I should be taught in class, I should not have to teach myself.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: It very much depends on the faculty that you are dealing with. I have met some teachers that are more than willing to help you work around your work schedule. However, in the nursing program most of the teachers do not want you to have a job outside of school, so that is difficult.

Student Body: The people that I have met in my nursing classes are great people. We are all there to pass and move on to our futures and the people that you meet are so willing to do whatever they can in order to help you move onto the next class with them. I love the people that I have met at Northwest State!

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: It is the most challenging but also the most rewarding.. You can just get by, you really have to work hard and put your all into it

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: It's only a 2 year school , but there I a lot of different paths to follow

5 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: It's a community college so it is cheaper and you get a great education

4 College Junior

Career Services: The nursing program is great and wildly known

3 College Junior

Facilities: It is smaller, there is less people and distractions

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: Making a friend on the first day. The teachers are nice and personable. If I started here the first time I think I would have had a greater experience in College.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: I haven't been to the activities

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: There are a lot of computers and printers

4 College Junior

Facilities: Everybody seems to be helpful

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I haven't paid any tuition yet. Its all covered by financial aid.

4 College Junior

Student Body: The student body is helpful and willing to talk.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: I dropped a class at the beginning of the semester because I should have taken another course instead. The bookstore would not let me get my money back because they said I needed to bring back the Access card which I know I don't have. They didn't even work with me about other options.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: I haven't been in my major yet, I have to go through the first out of the way classes first.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: Workload is light and manageable for a part time employee to handle.
