4 College Sophomore

Student Body: My school has a variation of diversity among the student body. There are people from all ethnic backgrounds, and the ratio in between cultures appear to even each other out. Students are typically happy, judging by their appearance. Many seem to be very school orientated and focus on their studies. On every hallway I walk down, there is always a group of people studying on the computers, or with their books out. Everyone helps each other out, such as in the class room. If anyone has a question, or needs to borrow a pencil or the notes from the previous day, someone will be there with a helping hand. I love everything about my school, and the students are a big helping hand with that.

3 College Sophomore

Student Body: It is a diverse population. I am considered a nontraditional student.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: The nursing program is good. The teachers have experience, are down to earth and helpful. They want you to succeed.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: As a technical school, it offers quite a few different degrees in health, business, etc.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: They offer a lot of distant education classes that allow for flexibility.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: I honestly don't know much about athletic centers of Northland. They have a decent size library, computers all over campus and a little work out area on the main campus.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: I don't have to go into school all too often, but when I do, I don't worry about taking my laptop with me as there are so many computers everywhere you go. The network was simple to get on, the IT people were readily available to help set it up and printers were all over to use as well.

3 College Sophomore

Facilities: There is one cafe type area of the school. Its not big enough to have a cafeteria program like larger schools.

3 College Sophomore

Online Courses: Online courses are what you make of it. They fit easily into your schedule, but it falls heavily on the student to make it or break it.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I think that its been a great experience. It is a smaller school, so the class choices are limited and you might have to wait a semester or year before you get into your desired program (at least nursing).

College Sophomore

Career Services: I have not had any interaction with post-grad services.

4 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: They were very helpful in helping me apply for financial aid, loans and child care grants.

College Sophomore

Online Courses: I've never taken any online classes. I'm sure this isn't a bad place to do so though.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: This campus has many different places to use the computers. The library is open at reasonable times and there's a weight room available to all students at good times. The only thing this campus is missing is a better variety the weight room.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: There's always somewhere you can catch up on homework or quickly print something if needed. The school wifi just makes it even better.

3 College Sophomore

Student Body: The student body is very diverse. When I came here, I felt comfortable automatically. I feel like I can go to a wide variety of people for help and it'll actually help me. This is a great community college.

3 College Senior

Career Services: I haven't put much use to the career center and such, but the people who work there are very friendly and willing to offer suggestions and advice.

4 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: The curriculum transfers quite readily, which is great. Because it is a community college, the time and class variety isn't as great as a university making it difficult at times to fit everything into your schedule.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: There are many opportunities to fulfill your general education requirements. The workload is reasonable, and the curriculum easily transfers.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: The professors want to see you succeed. The class size is great because the teachers get to know you one on one and can help if you are struggling, or offer encouragement. Class registration is simple. The workload is manageable.

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: Not many students take advantage of the resources.

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: There are many available computers as well as wifi

5 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Lots of scholarships and reasonable tuition.

3 College Senior

Facilities: Lots of recreational opportunities offered.

3 College Senior

Student Body: There are a lot of small-town friendly kids.
