4 College Student

Diversity: There isn't too much diversity here at Northern, but for the small amount there is people are pretty accepting.

College Student

Greek Life: We do not have any Greek life here at Northern. However, I think it would be a great addition and it would definitely add to the school spirit level.

Campus Strictness: It's not the most strict campus, but they are strict about certain things. I don't have much to compare to, and I've never gotten in trouble.

College Student

Computers: I've never actually used a computer at the school, but they do have plenty available. If a computer is needed, I bring my laptop.

3 College Student

Nightlife: I'm not very active in the nightlife at my school. While they do hold dances and other fun things, I've never attended.

3 College Student

Local Atmosphere: There are things to do, but there's not much variety. During the school year a lot of things are closed, like Storybook Land and Wylie Park, which give the most things to do. During the spring and summer though, it's great.

5 College Student

Academics: I'm an Elementary Education major and I absolutely love it. I can't wait until I get accepted into the School of Education and can get more involved in my major.

College Student

Campus Housing: I do not live on campus. I lived on campus for about a week, so I don't really have much of a review. I'm from this town, so I live with my parents.

3 College Student

Weather: The spring and fall are great, but the winter is the worst. It's annoying to walk through campus to get to class with all the snow, wind, and cold we get.

3 College Student

Off-Campus Dining: There are quite a few places to eat. There are lots of fast food places, as well as sit-down. I'm not sure if any offer student discounts because I've never tried to get a student discount before. Overall though, you can definitely eat on a budget.

3 College Sophomore

Weather: It is very cold, but you get used to it. It is either really cold or it snows a lot.

3 College Sophomore

Nightlife: There are popular bars for those 21 or over. Other than that people just go to other's dorms or houses to hang out.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: There are some good choices for fast food and a few good sit down restaurants. Aberdeen seems to be growing so more variety will eventually arrive.

2 College Sophomore

Scholarships: If a future student gets the WolfPact scholarship for going right out of high school it is great. However, transfer students like me receive no reward for outstanding grades. Also most of the non guaranteed scholarships are only for students from South Dakota or another country.

5 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: I have not seen or heard of any theft in the dorms or around campus. It is a small campus so everybody know everybody.

5 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: There is hardly a drug scene here. As for alcohol, obviously kids are going to do it, its a college. But There is not much for peer pressure and usage is not extremely high.

4 College Sophomore

Majors: It really is not hard at all to get into your desired major. It is a seamless process and there are hardly any requirements.

3 College Sophomore

Weather: I really enjoy the summers and spring but fall kills me with the snow. A litle to cold for me but ill be okay. Great ether or, the westher.

3 College Sophomore

Nightlife: i more a stay at home study but if i was to go out. A bar seen. i need to go ut more. to protective of self.

4 College Sophomore

Diversity: no issues and we all just get along fine. no issues seen or heard.

3 College Sophomore

Transportation: Better to havea car just in case or emergency, long trips with friends.

4 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: well i really dont see others doing drugs at school and i really dont know who does. Not hte crowd i hang out with.

3 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: i have asked for a ride to my car but instead he watched me wak to my car and leave. i had to look fir him around to ask.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: It's food. what you pay is what you get to eat.

4 College Sophomore

Majors: i really enjoy what I am doing and learning in the classroom.
