Off-Campus Dining: Several places to choose from, but mostly big name food places.

3 College Junior

Transportation: There is a shuttle that runs most of the day and is free to students and faculty.

Athletics: The basketball team is division 1, but they aren't very good. Other sports aren't followed very much.

4 College Sophomore

Computers: There are a lot of available computers throughout campus

Athletics: With NKU recently becoming a division 1 school it has just made all excited. I have not yet attended any of the sporting events due to a busy schedule but on game days I see those sporting their norse shirts and other apparel. All over campus there are banners, flyers and yard signs stating upcoming games, times and locations. Sometimes there are special events before the games to get more students interested in attending.

Majors: I am very happy with my program. I am concerned because it is in the art field which has made me re-evaluate the direction in which I will go but it has none-the-less not made me change my mind. I love all types of art and I feel like it's the only thing I can strive in. My career goals have changed in the past six moths. Before I just wanted to work for an advertising company but now I want to be a sports photographer along with an advertising company. It took me a while to realize what I love and that's sports!

Diversity: Diversity at NKU is the best! That's one of the reasons I love going there. Everyday I have met someone new. I come from a small town so going somewhere with different beliefs, cultures and sexual orientation reminds me that the world is made of white people. I am mix and coming from a small town can be hard when no one accepts your culture. But being at NKU makes me proud to be mix and I don't have to feel ashamed about it because there are others that are there like me. It's also taught me that everyone is different and their own person and it's great to meet different people that don't think like you do.

Off-Campus Housing: I still live at home and commute from there so I don't know completely how off campus housing is. I've heard friends and other students saying that there are some places that are extremely expensive and some that are reasonable price. The city in which the campus is located is more of a pricey city to live in anyways, so I'm assuming any where you look it's not going to be cheap. That is if you want to live somewhere decent.

Academics: The professors are always willing to help on any problems you have in class or outside. Those who work for the university are very helpful and patient when it comes to answering questions. There are many opportunities to learn outside of classrooms, such as study abroad programs, internships and co-ops.

4 College Freshman

Computers: The internet is slow at times but I have not had many problems with it. I usually have my personal laptop with me so I do not need a computer lab.

4 College Freshman

Scholarships: I did not have an issue with financial aid, I received it on time and had no struggles with it.

5 College Freshman

Transportation: I drive myself to school and I have many friends who would be willing to drive me if I needed it. There is also a shuttle that goes around campus.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: I am not one who goes to many sporting events but I know they are a huge part of campus life. We even have a group called Norse Force that dresses up for sporting events and cheer on all of our teams.

3 College Freshman

Diversity: There are many different types of people at NKU but some of the church groups are not accepting of some minorities.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: I love all the food options near campus. I get a student discount at almost every place and there are a lot of choices.

5 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: I love Northern Kentucky, everyone is so nice and there are good restaurants everywhere I turn.

College Freshman

Nightlife: I'm never at school later than 4:00

College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I live with my parents so off campus housing is not something I've needed to look into.

3 College Senior

Off-Campus Housing: Off-campus housing is available but they all look alike, it's not too close to campus, and you will pay high prices. Advice: get a roommate.
