North park University is nearby as well as the former Korean Town and so there are a lot of places to eat.
The school is a commuter school and so there are not very many Greek fraternities and sororities. I'm also not sure how the housing works for them.
Driving to school is simple, however parking can be a hassle. The costs for parking go by credit hour but the prices are reasonable, maybe a little high. Public transportation is around and available as long as one is willing to walk. Long-distance public transportation is time consuming and a hassle.
My school is an entirely commuter school. The trek from school to home is 45 minutes for me so I never stay long enough to explore the nightlife.
