Academic Flexibility: Just reccently I had to drop a class due to taking one too many classes at once. The process was very easy, only a phone to the front desk and they were able to drop the class for me. There was no hassle at all. As far as transferring credits I was a little disappointed that more of my credits did not bridge over for me.

College Junior

Career Services: I have not had to use these services from this school just yet.

Tuition & Financial Aid: They have been great to work with and answer any questions I have. I did end up getting financial aid for school and they helped me pick which loan would be best and how much I would need.

5 College Junior

Career Services: Northeast Wisconsin Technical college is very helpful at finding students jobs after they graduate from college.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Financial aid was not possible for me but for students who can receive financial aid it is a very easy process.

Academic Flexibility: Northeast Wisconsin Technical college has been a great college and I have enjoyed my experiences. All the teachers and staff are very helpful and are always willing to give you a hand when you need it. This school is very flexible with my schedule, working and studying is not easy but NWTC has made it easier.

Campus Resources: Many clubs you can sign up for and attend events for ones you aren't a part of yet. Very small gym. Clean and modern aesthetics in the design of the buildings but very easy to get lost on campus with various levels and building connections in strange areas.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Tuition is cheap enough that financial aid went smoothly for me. Also, since the government doesn't send out financial aid before school starts so you can order books, NWTC gives a book voucher that is taken out of your aid when it finally does come through.

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: Small classes so you get to know your professors well and they really show a dedication towards you as an individual

Academic Flexibility: I choose NWTC. because it is flexible and it does allow me to work, but now that I;m starting my program its not as flexible because I am full time and need extra time to focus on these classes.

Online Courses: Online courses, were pretty good for my myself. The first time I took online classes it did not go so well, but now I took some again and they went much better!

Tuition & Financial Aid: It's very difficult understanding the process and when meeting with advisors they sometimes just rush through it and don't take the time to explain into detail, and al the loop holes. I have not received financial aid for a few years, because by GPA dropped due to me stopping some of my classes. I finally have worked my way up and have been paying for school, and it would be great to receive some scholarships to help pay for these expenses.

College Freshman

Campus Resources: I attend classes at the regional center, not the main campus.

Online Courses: I have not taken any online courses at NWTC, but I have taken self-paced courses, and a distance learning lab. With both self-paced and distance learning, it is difficult to have a relationship with the instructor, but communication is a huge part of the class and is actively used by both instructor and student. My distance learning class was advanced, basically meaning the class length was shortened and the workload was doubled, but still the class was well taught and I learned a lot. My only gripe with self-paced, distance learning, and online classes is that there is little peer-to-peer interaction and communication can be challenging.

Campus Resources: NWTC is very up to date with their computers. I took a distance learning class that used webcams, microphones, speakers, and many other technical devices that all worked very smoothly. They have great IT support staff for technical difficulties, and plenty of computer labs and WiFi access points. Excellent network!

Tuition & Financial Aid: I applied for financial aid at the beginning of this year and still have heard nothing back regarding financial aid. I am actually starting to stress out about being able to pay for the classes in which I'm currently enrolled. I have received no response to emails, and am basically waiting around. I was poorly informed about scholarship deadlines and missed most of them. I do however feel that the education I am receiving is well worth the tuition I pay.

College Freshman

Campus Resources: I take classes at the regional center in Shawano, I don't have a good idea of resources on the main campus.

5 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Very flexible especially for single parents such as my self.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: After graduation majority of the students in my program find jobs right away or can get federal grants to open their own child center or school.

4 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid is awesome and it helps me a lot. The only thing I wish I would have known before signing up for summer classes was that I had already used my financial aid for the year so I did not get what I was expecting back as far as refunds, but they are awesome and they give you the most money possible.

5 College Junior

Career Services: NWTC has a huge success after college graduation rate.

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience: Im transferring to UWGB in the fall. The courses needed to transfer are pretty straight forward. Always ask a million questions and double check everything. The teachers may not always give correct info

3 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: I wasn't able to get financial aid for the general ed studies which I do not agree with. The classes are expensive, the books are expensive. I rarely had to open my expensive books!

College Sophomore

Career Services: i have not started classes yet. I will not be starting til june

College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: not in class yet. I will not be starting intil june
