4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: The nusing program has a great reputation and I feel blessed to have been selected to join the program. For myself personally and being a mom of two I would not want to be anyother place. Norfolk is a great community, big enough for activities for all ages. However not so big that a person feels like a number instead of a human being.

Facilities: Though I do not participate in campus life or the social scene, what I have observed is the school is very active in creating events for students to participate in.

Student Body: NECC has quite a diversity for its setting in Northeast Nebraska. I think that says a lot about the openness of the college and its ability to draw in people from around the world.

Campus Resources: The math lab was a blessing for me and the network was usually always working. Texts or signs were posted if anything would be down for a time being. The computer labs were avalibale and use as well as printing was made easy!

Academic Flexibility: I knew coming in that I would for a time have to reshuffle my "personal" schedule to incorperate higher learning. I have no problem in doing this as this is a choice for me further my education and make a great impact in society. What I "give" up know I willl reap 110% after I graduate.

Career Services: Services at Northeast have been above and beyond my expectations! So happy for my decision to enroll and begin my nursing degree here.

Online Courses: I was very nervous about an online class. However the professor was very helpful as well as the tutors assistance. Passed with an A so I am greatful and very happy!

Overall Experience: Between the professors, affordable tuition, and the different activities going on through out the year this college is awesome!

Academic Flexibility: I haven't had any problem with the flexibility of my classes and personal life. I haven't transferred any credits due to the fact that I just finished my first year of college, but my advisors have been very helpful when guiding me on what classes will transfer.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition is very affordable and it is great! I think the tuition is excellent and a great way to at least start and get generals done. The financial aid office is very helpful and have always been able to help me with what I need.

Academic Experience: I'm glad that I was able to declare my major while attending Northeast Community College. My advisor is awesome and very east to work with. She has been a major help in helping me figure out what classes I need and what will transfer easily. She has also helped with letting me know what classes are only offered at certain times of the years. The classes that I have taken for my major have been excellent and have helped me majorly.

Academic Experience: Professors are very helpful. They have always been willing to help and do whatever it takes to make sure you understand what needs to be done. There are different options for studying for example there are tutoring services and a writings clinic that is extremely helpful. Registration is very simple and quick. I have never had a problem registering for the classes that I need or want to take.

Online Courses: Online classes are a great way to get classes done if you have a busy schedule. I personally like traditional classes better, because I learn better that way. I am taking online classes now to help stay on track and it has been very east to interact with other students and communicate with the professors. Again, registering for online classes is just a simple as registering for traditional classes.

Campus Resources: There is a weight room and gym, but there isn't much for sports offered through the college. There is a student center and it's pretty nice. In the student center is a lounge, game room, college bookstore, and a place to get food. I personally enjoy the student because it is a nice place to go in between classes and grab something to eat and work on course work. There are campus activities going on weekly and vary throughout the year!

Campus Resources: There are computer labs through out campus, but it would be nice if each building had a computer lab. Printing on campus is pretty well computer labs don't cost, but the library does charge but at a very reasonable price. I haven't had a problem with internet access when I am on campus.

Career Services: I have not personally completely my degree yet, but I have had friends and family that have attended Northeast Community College and have found jobs without a problem!
