Career Services: I have to admit, I don't really know much about the services offered at NTC. I am 36 yrs old and felt I needed to advance my career options. I really didn't think I wanted to know much about services there. To me I just wanted to go to class and hopefully pass. This is just the first stepping stone for me.

Academic Experience: It's awesome and very hands on.

4 College Senior

Student Body: I can't say too much outside of the guys and girls I have had classes with, and from what I've seen and experienced it's great.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Only thing I would change is getting loans. In order to get both sub and unsub loans you have many hoops or steps to complete now and it makes it difficult to make sure you get all the financial aid needed.

5 College Junior

Online Courses: The instructors use an on-line option when possible.

5 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The college offers degrees in programs where there are job offerings in the local area.

Facilities: The college has very adequate and easy to use parking.

Campus Resources: There are many useful resources on campus such as a gym, library, and many open computer labs. The gym is FREE for students and faculty. It is kept clean and has friendly staff. The library has computers available for student use, but my favorite part is the quiet, secluded study rooms available for private use.

Campus Resources: The campus has a welcome feeling. Almost everyone greets you with a hello and a smile and are also very willing to help you out with anything. The campus is always having student events such as music, speakers, movies and much more. For each event that you attend you earn a punch on a punch card or sometimes two punches for special events and at the end of the semester if you fill the card by attending the events you can win cool prizes such as an ipod, gift certificates, movie tickets, cash, and many more things.

Campus Resources: There are many clubs, athletics, activities, and student recorces avalable to students.

Campus Resources: The computers in the library and sience building are slow, but once connected the network is vary reliable. Web is avalible on campus by wifi or on all computers.

Academic Experience: Every teacher I have had so far, has exhibited knowledge both from their education and more importantly their experience in the field they are teaching. They tell it like it is, and give us firm examples of what to expect in our career choices. They keep the students engaged in the coursework because of the stories and supporting facts they have to what we are learning each class.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I have had no issues with the financial aid department. Tuition is very affordable comparted to other area colleges.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: So far, I have only taken general studies. The instructors I have had so far have done an excellent job relating what we are learning to how we will use the information in various situations.

Career Services: Northcentral Technical College has a lot of great programs that help new graduates find jobs. Mock interviews are held for students wanting to practice their interview skills. Many of those who participate in the mock interviews are actually those who conduct the interview in real life!

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: The instructors I have had so fare do a very decent job of explaining the material and helping when help is needed.

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience: I gave a "B" because NTC is still growing and does not yet offer many courses found at other colleges. However, NTC does offer a wide variety of courses and majors. The instructors are flexible with their students. The staff at NTC is very knowledgeable and helpful to all students. Every year new courses are added and the college keeps growing, while still maintaining small class sizes and increased instructor-student interaction. Northcentral Technical College is a very respectable college to be at in my opinion, especially when it comes to the instructors. They make a student feel important and help each and every student fully understand the material they are presenting.

Academic Flexibility: Northcentral Technical College is outstanding compared to the other college I went to. I am currently in my last semester with NTC due to the fact that I am transferring to a four year university. The only drawback to NTC is that not many credits transfer to my new college; however NTC is growing and adapting so in the future more credits will transfer. The small class sizes are a definite plus and the flexibility of the instructors is amazing. The instructors are willing to work with you to extend deadlines while remaining good stewards and keeping you responsible for your own actions. I would definitely continue with this college if it were a four year university.

Online Courses: I chose to take on line classes, because I have 2 children and I have no car. Doing classes online provides me not to get dropped from a class because of attendance, and I can work at my pace as long as the work is turned in on the due date. Im in 4th semester and i love it!!

1 College Junior

Online Courses: The online stuff is fairly difficult if you do not have some computer experience. They require you to download and use outside resources that may not be safe to use sometimes. I do not like downloading things on my computer for classes that may cause viruses

2 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition is fair except for extra fees for online I would think you should get a discount. F Aid was a pain you had to stay on them

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I am a mechanical design student and my classes have been directly related to my area of study. I feel, for the most part, my classes have real world application and will be very useful in the future. A couple of the classes I had to take have been somewhat abstract (learning processes vs learning the theory behind them). I feel that my attendance of NTC will be crucial in my success.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: The small class sizes are ideal and the interactive environment really helps the learning experience. I feel that the financial aid department could largely be improved upon by adding more staff do deal with and help the students that are struggling to pay for their education. The instructors at NTC are very well versed and have though out their lesson plans well before putting them into practice.
