3 College Junior

Overall Experience: Overall I am very excited to be attending NTC. It is not only cost effective but offers me an opportunity to start a whole new career since being release from employment after working at the same company for the past 21 years.

3 College Junior

Career Services: I have not explored all of the options available post-grad, but I know there are opportunities for internships that could turn into permanent employment and I have seen information available at student services for job placement.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: Overall there everything runs well at NTC. There were some "bumps in the road" with the registration process, but the workload, faculty and campus are more than satisfactory.

3 College Junior

Student Body: The student body at NTC is very career oriented. There is some social interaction daily and students express their political, ethic, economic, etc....views, but for the most part everyone is very focused on their academic goals.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: The class sizes and courses offered were average size. They allowed for the professor to not be overwhelmed by questions due to too many students. The teaching style was primarily dependent of what course of study (whether allowed for opinion or was based on text book).

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: My career prospects would increase dramatically, currently I am familiar with IT programs and trouble shooting, but I lack the actual "phrases" used and proper procedure (previously I used many work around to fix issues that came up).

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: Most the the individuals I dealt with were very helpful. I did run into one issue where I was given wrong information and there was no viable solution offered. The answer given to me was "No, we don't do that anymore".

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Overall the experience to transfer credits was not too taxing. The information from my previous degree with NTC was not readily available so there was a slight delay with the enrollment process and which courses I needed to sign up for.

Academic Experience: Overall the class registration was not horrible. I did receive misinformation on how I was to enroll and then take the entrance exams, which took me two trips to the campus to straighten out, but eventually I was able to meet with an advisor who could assist me. The curriculum and workload seem to be well laid out and there are many programs available that made making a final selection challenging.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: The program for computer support specialist covers all the basics that will allow for success in this career. The class and work load are balanced so they are not overwhelming but still provide a challenge.

Career Services: I have to admit, I don't really know much about the services offered at NTC. I am 36 yrs old and felt I needed to advance my career options. I really didn't think I wanted to know much about services there. To me I just wanted to go to class and hopefully pass. This is just the first stepping stone for me.

5 College Senior

Academic Experience: It's awesome and very hands on.

4 College Senior

Student Body: I can't say too much outside of the guys and girls I have had classes with, and from what I've seen and experienced it's great.

3 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Only thing I would change is getting loans. In order to get both sub and unsub loans you have many hoops or steps to complete now and it makes it difficult to make sure you get all the financial aid needed.

5 College Junior

Online Courses: The instructors use an on-line option when possible.

5 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The college offers degrees in programs where there are job offerings in the local area.

Facilities: The college has very adequate and easy to use parking.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: There are many useful resources on campus such as a gym, library, and many open computer labs. The gym is FREE for students and faculty. It is kept clean and has friendly staff. The library has computers available for student use, but my favorite part is the quiet, secluded study rooms available for private use.

Campus Resources: The campus has a welcome feeling. Almost everyone greets you with a hello and a smile and are also very willing to help you out with anything. The campus is always having student events such as music, speakers, movies and much more. For each event that you attend you earn a punch on a punch card or sometimes two punches for special events and at the end of the semester if you fill the card by attending the events you can win cool prizes such as an ipod, gift certificates, movie tickets, cash, and many more things.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Many different academic programs with good instructors. Facilities are awsome and they have many free events you can attend

4 College Sophomore

Student Body: It is vary divers and there are many different types of students that are kind.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: There are many clubs, athletics, activities, and student recorces avalable to students.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: The computers in the library and sience building are slow, but once connected the network is vary reliable. Web is avalible on campus by wifi or on all computers.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: Every teacher I have had so far, has exhibited knowledge both from their education and more importantly their experience in the field they are teaching. They tell it like it is, and give us firm examples of what to expect in our career choices. They keep the students engaged in the coursework because of the stories and supporting facts they have to what we are learning each class.

4 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: I have had no issues with the financial aid department. Tuition is very affordable comparted to other area colleges.
