4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: It was a great experience. It was very close to home and I got the help and support I needed from teachers and peers. It helped me save a lot of money and I learned a lot. I feel great about it!

Tuition & Financial Aid: It was easy, all I did was apply to FAFSA and it only took a few days.

4 College Freshman

Campus Resources: I have not had any problems with the computer or network at my school at all. It is always easy to find a computer and print it out in short time.

5 College Freshman

Campus Resources: I have used the library to the best of my ability. Also, I use the computer labs and and online recourses in all of my classes.

College Freshman

Online Courses: I don't take any online courses

3 College Freshman

Student Body: It is a small school, and people are constantly coming and going to their classes. It is diverse, but it is a commuter school so it is difficult to make friends and find people who are willing to help me with classwork.

3 College Freshman

Career Services: It is a community college, so my degree will not be as valuable as a degree from another school. I plan to transfer for post-grad services.

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: There are a large variety of programs and majors for the school. There is many places to study and learn more about your classes during the semester

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: Hands on, local involvement, small and intimate class sizes. Professors who care about your success

4 College Freshman

Facilities: It is limited because it is a community college, the experience is limited. But it is helpful and very flexible from my educational and financial needs.

3 College Freshman

Career Services: Delegation can be difficult at times.

3 College Freshman

Student Body: The study body ranges from the average college student to parents taking classes. It is an interesting environment that I've never been in before but one that I'm enjoying.

Online Courses: I have only completed one online course, but it was fantastic. With online classes, it seems that the key is in the organization. The professor was excellent at coordinating, and encouraging students to interact. With the weekly discussion topics, each person posted on the forum. Given the interest level of most of the topics, students frequently responded to each other's posts and more conversation was created.

Student Body: The student body is very diverse and from my experience willing to interact with each other when it comes to class times and course work. Most of the students are either part time students, or have full time jobs or both. They do not, therefore, have extensive time or willingness to socialize outside of anything directly related to course work.

Career Services: Everyone is great and helpful but at times they are mean and don't care too much...

2 College Junior

Campus Resources: The facilities at North Shore Community are fine. Although it is a community college it has all the basic facilities that students need.
