Local Atmosphere: Great big city nearby, but have to drive at least 15 minutes to get to anything.

Local Atmosphere: Greenville is around twenty to thirty minutes away. Many national/state parks are nearby. While remote the school tried to offer a wide variety of activities to keep you involved.

4 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: We are in the mountains. People are nice, but don't expect much of a city life. Downtown Greenville is an excellent place to hang out, but it's 30 minutes away from school.

4 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: The scenery is absolutely beautiful, its located at the foot of the blue ridge mountains so as far as out door activities go, there is plenty to do. If you're willing to drive about 20 minutes off campus you will find yourself in several small towns with plenty of awesome coffee shops small restaurants. 30 minutes away is Greenville's minor league team (who wins often) they are a lot of fun to see. There are plenty of places to Golf, Longboard (lots of hills) and do whatever else you could want to do outside.

2 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: The town of Tigerville is very small and there is not much to do in the area. The closest town with any attractions is Greenville, which is about 20 mins. outside of the proximity of the university.
