4 College Senior

Academics: NDSU excels in many areas of study. They are known for their agricultural and research studies. NDSU is well accredited and proud of its students. They ensure that each student receives a quality education.

4 College Senior

Campus Strictness: The university enforces rules and laws on the students. There is a great group of campus police who ensure the safety of all students. They are easy to approach as well if a student has a problem.

4 College Freshman

Academics: To be a Finance major at NDSU it is very competitive and challenging. You are always busy working on something, but you know it will pay off in the end, so it is nice to finish it.

3 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: I am from the cities, so it was a big change coming to Fargo. The biggest attraction in Fargo is the West Acres Mall and Cinema.

5 College Freshman

Computers: NDSU has many computer labs with printing stations located all over campus. The network is very reliable and is offered everywhere around campus, so you are always connected.

3 College Freshman

Weather: In Fargo it is always windy. It doesn't take long to get use to though. The winters are brutal because the temperatures can drop drastically in a matter of a few hours. In the fall and spring is nice because the weather is a little cool, but a comfortable cool. The only type of weather that affects my campus experience is the winter weather because it takes a lot of motivation to leave the warm dorms to walk through the cold to class.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Living on campus is great! I have met a majority of my friends from living in the dorms. The price is a little steep for what you get for room size, but it works. It is nice because the dorms are right on campus and right next to the class halls.

4 College Freshman

Diversity: NDSU is very diverse and everyone accepts everyone here.

2 College Freshman

Scholarships: I didn't apply for financial aid because I applied last year and didn't receive any money.

4 College Freshman

Greek Life: Greek life offers a lot of socializing activities like volunteering and having social events throughout the campus. It also offers great networking for employment in your future or even now in college.

3 College Sophomore

Diversity: Most students are from the mid-west and have similar backgrounds but there are many international students as well.

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: Varsity teams are nationally recognized and compete for national championships almost every year.

3 College Sophomore

Majors: My classes are hard but I know that I will someday have a great job if I stick it out.

3 College Sophomore

Majors: No problems getting in to my program.

4 College Sophomore

Scholarships: It sucks having to take out student loans but it was not difficult to obtain the necessary funds.

3 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: There are alot of programs on campus about drug awareness. But alcohol usage is very prevalent.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Living on campus allows easy access to the student union and an easy walk to classrooms/auditoriums. Dining centers serve decent food but they should allow more options for board plans (only paying for certain days of the week or a certain number of meals per week).

3 College Sophomore

Nightlife: I am not 21 yet so I don't have first hand knowledge of the bar scene. There are a few underage nightlife establishments that have booked some decent bands.

4 College Sophomore

Nightlife: Some nights are better than others, but you can always find something!

4 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: It doesn't ever affect the campus life, as we're a dry campus. But many know it's out there, you just have to careful and safe!

5 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: I love Fargo so much! There's a lot to do with not as much hussle and bussle!

4 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: Alcohol and drugs are the main restrictions.

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: We have the campus with the best fans! and facilities are THE BEST!

2 College Sophomore

Weather: The wind and the cold is really horrible. Of course, we do have some good winters, but that's to us North Dakotans.

4 College Sophomore

Computers: Printing on campus is really nice, and you can get wireless access in any building and mostly inbetween the buildings. It's nice to have a computer to always check your grades and emails, along with taking notes. But of course, it's not a necessity.
